FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have my master esthetics license from NIMA. I have also been trained through the makeup department at BYU, and even worked as a TA for their beginning makeup class. I have also been trained by MAC over the 3 years I worked for them, and when I was working as their Product Specialist at City Creek I was in charge of facilitating in-store trainings among my coworkers.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always loved makeup. In middle school I did makeup for the school plays, in high school I did makeup for prom and for my whole cheer team before our competitions. After high school I took makeup classes, pursued my esthetics license, and got hired by MAC for more training!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I most commonly work with brides and bridal parties, and I have a couple clients that bring me in for photoshoots to promote their businesses. I have also done a lot of teaching, beginning in the BYU makeup department, and leading up to my time with MAC where I would teach customers how to recreate the makeup I did for them.
