We did Ashtanga yoga on the beach. She was very clear in her explanation of the poses and gave us modifications which made it easy to move through poses and concentrate on our breathe.

I love teaching a balance of yoga asana and meditation - the mind aspect of yoga is so important too. Arm balances and headstands are some of my favorite poses to teach. Before beginning a class, I like to find out what my client is interested in learning or focusing on that day. For example, if my client has tight hamstrings and hips, I like to tailor my yoga class to focus on loosening up those areas.
