Introduction
Marcato Kitchen is a restaurant in downtown Salt Lake City created by a duo with over a decade of high end restaurant experience. Kyle and Kris have both worked in luxury hotels and restaurants in the Park City and Salt Lake City area. Kyle as a chef and Kris as a general manager. While our restaurant offers elevated comfort food our passion is creative high end food in a variety of genres. We always focus on quality while using local ingredients sourced from farms and ranches in Utah. We never cut corners, everything is made from scratch and we take pride in our craft of cooking and customer service.

Marcato Kitchen has amazing food. End of story. I have catered two events with Marcato and Kyle is great to work with and people raved about the sandwiches, salad and the cookies. You can't forget the cookies.

I've craved Marcato Kitchen ever since I took my first bite back in 2023. This place handcrafts a wide variety of strombolis that are packed with such an explosion of flavors. They are always pushing the limits of creativity and never cut any corners on quality. If you can't decide which one to get, get all of them! Sometimes I order extra and will vacuum seal and freeze a few so I have some on hand. They will stay good for months and taste just as delicious when you heat them back up in the oven.

Chef Kyle has an incredible knack for delicious and creative dishes. You could tell everything was made from scratch and with meticulous thought into every detail of each dish. We had a few guests with dietary restrictions and he was still able to make modified dishes taste delicious. Our favorites were the house made pasta and the basque cheesecake. If you want high quality, creative food this is your place!
