JSP started the job and then disappeared. They did a great job hanging the drywall and then stopped responding to all messages. I had to hire someone else to finish the job.

I had a difficult time contacting the owner. He only showed up when it was convenient for himself and never the times we agreed upon. A quick job ended up taking over two weeks to complete. In the end I am going to have to do touch up work myself because the finish work is sloppy. I can’t recommend using Thumbtack because they obviously don’t screen the companies performing the work. I paid $3700 to have a small room sheet rocked, mud and taped and shelves installed. I expected the work to be completed professionally but I now realize I could have done a better job, and saved a bunch of money had I simply done the work myself.

We had a pretty good experience. The job was done in a good time frame. The price was good. There were a few things about the quality that weren’t great. They did a room but didn’t do the windowsill or the closet door frame. So naw I am left trying to figure out how to finish off those edges. I guess we will be trimming them out.
