About
We specialize in offering personal training to masters athletes and older adults. We excel in our focus to form, keeping our clients safe while getting strong. We transform lives and challenge the aging paradigm. From helping someone achieve negative splits in a half marathon, getting a personal best in a race or lift, or banishing the cane/walker to the closet. These changes are the emotional paydays I live for!

WOW, Ryan is a Motivator! I’m a recently retired guy who’s never been to a gym in my life. Work kept me hopping, but now it’s too easy to sit! Ryan explains how the exercises help me, focuses on my form, helps with current issues (shoulder & back), and gives me “homework” for the days I’m not training with him. I’m losing weight, gaining muscle, and feeling GREAT!

After being inactive for years due to health concerns, I'm finally working out and feeling good again. I was concerned I would reinjure myself, so I ignored others recommendations to work with Ryan. I finally gave in and met with Ryan. I will admit I was concerned (afraid) at first, but Ryan has a great deal of knowledge and understands the body and it's limitations. He customizes the workout to meet my needs - something I greatly appreciate. I'm thrilled to be working with Ryan and would recommend others avoid waiting as long as I did to get active again.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

The pricing ($45) is for our most popular program which is our semi-private personal training. You get the personalized program while sharing the cost with 1-2 other people. Our normal cost for our 1-on-1 personal training one-hour session is $70. However, for a limited time we're offering (5) one-hour sessions for $249 ($100 off)!

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Bachelors in Exercise Science. Minor in Nutrition. Certified through the Functional Aging Institute (FAI) as a Functional Aging Specialist. Also a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength & Conditioning Association.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I always recommend looking at the education. It's your body. It's one of the most complex systems on earth. You simply can't learn everything about it and to keep you safe in just a weekend certification. Look for professionals with higher education (Bachelors and up). Second, look at the certifications. They should be nationally recognized, and require continuing education. You deserve someone who is up to date on latest research and best practices-not just the latest trends.
