Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: We specialize in tearing down walls and making kitchens bigger. We have the knowledge and resources to remove any wall. If you have a space that needs renovating, reach out to us and see how we can help! We are currently about 3-4 weeks out on new projects. Which is great if you need time to get a permit and engineering completed for your project. Smaller projects can sometimes be sooner if we can squeeze you in between larger jobs. Each member of Rudd Builders is experienced in carpentry and remodeling. They are skilled in almost every area that needs help in your home. We love changing a space into something way better than it was designed to be. We love remodeling homes and decks of all shapes and sizes. We’re a small company that can do anything. I'd love to meet up and discuss your project. My sister is a designer and 3D drafter. She can show an image of your future finished project. We try to give as many options of design as possible. No pressure and no sales. Just a causal conversation about your project.

Home Remodeling

Rudd Builders did great work for me on a complex job, replacing an exterior window with a back door. I interviewed multiple contractors and they were by far the most knowledgeable and professional. John did great work and everything came in under budget. Paul was also very responsive throughout the process. I will definitely hire them again.

Home Remodeling

They installed a door for us and patched up some drywall. They took pride in their work, and checked to make sure we were happy with everything. They fit us into their schedule even though they were busy. We will hire them again.

General Contracting

Project completed: Baseboards, casings, and floor transitions. Paul contacted me via the app quickly, and more importantly asked great questions to see if he would be the right fit. The template and estimate process was easy and he was very professional. Pricing and work time were reasonable. He showed up on time everyday and worked easily with me when things changed (2020 earthquake and power outage). After the project was complete, my husband and I were very pleased with the final result, clean-up and final price. I would highly recommend this contractor.

Details: I'm just starting • Whole home or building • Replace parts of existing structure • 500 - 1,000 sq ft • Home • I am the owner

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Because of Covid and customers not wanting construction workers in their homes, we are offering a 10% discount on all deck construction during the months of December and January. We will get your deck ready for the Spring time use. Working outside allows us to keep our face to face interactions extremely limited.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I visit the home and listen to their project ideas. We tour the space and discuss all the options and possibilities that we can come up with together. I try to give rough estimates on the first visit to give them an idea. If they're wanting to go further, then designs are drawn and the budget gets much more specific. Very low pressure and no sales. Just a casual conversation really. I try to answer every question homeowners have.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Although I have a degree in Psychology, my passion is building and remodeling. My dad taught me a lot about remodeling. I flipped a home last year and did almost all of the labor and trades work myself. I taught myself a lot through trial and error.
