Before working with Jake, I was really struggling with my knees. Simple things like going up and down the stairs were painful, and even getting up off the floor or bending over had become difficult. On top of that, I had gained about 20 pounds that I just could not get off no matter what I tried. I felt like my body was slowing down, and it was frustrating feeling stuck and not in control of my health. When I started working with Jake, I was really focused on work and struggled to actually follow through on the changes I knew I needed to make. But with his guidance, I was able to implement small, manageable changes each week that added up to big improvements. I cleaned up my diet by eating more whole, healthy foods, cut out soda, started taking vitamins and supplements, and made a real effort to stay hydrated. I also set daily walking goals, which felt great to consistently hit. Physically, I got stronger and was able to do more reps, but the biggest win for me was discovering that my knee pain was coming from muscle imbalances. That gave me real answers and, more importantly, hope that things could actually improve—and they have. If you’re considering training with Jake, just know this—you’re worth the effort. Not everything can be solved on your own, and it’s okay to ask for help. This isn’t a quick fix, it’s a journey, but it’s one you won’t regret. Jake has the ability to see things you can’t on your own and gives you a simple, effective plan that evolves as you improve. On top of that, you have someone in your corner the entire time, pushing you and cheering you on every step of the way.

Before training with Jake, I was working hard but struggled with direction and not seeing the results I wanted. I struggled with body fat, core strength, and consistency, especially with cardio. Since starting with Jake, my strength, muscle mass, energy, and confidence have all gone up, and Im finally seeing real progress. A few of the problems I was having before working out with Jake was tendinitis in my left shoulder mobility issues, and needed help with flexibility. Since I started working out with Jake, my flexibility has improved my mobility. Im able to get off the floor much faster and without pain. I would highly recommend Jake for any personal training issues. He has really improved my life and. Has made it easier for me to work out in the gym without injuring myself and he is a great listener!

Prior to starting my program with Jake, I suffered with a pain in my left knee that really hindered my participation in the sports I love to do , which is speedskating and cycling. Although I fought through the pain, I didn't realize just how imbalanced my strength and flexibility really were until after working with Jake for only 2 sessions. The program he has thoughtfully put together for me has produced improvements not only in my knee but my entire body.Not only am I pain free , I am more confident in my ability to continue to build my strength and balance ,all without fear of injuring myself.As a 64 year young athlete, having Jake providing me with the tools to achieve my goals is very exciting. His knowledge is vast and his ability to put together a customized program is a game changer. Jake provides real time feed back , both with video and sensors measuring my progress. He does all this in a very supportive manner.My advice to anyone not sure about having a personal trainer would be to schedule an evaluation session with Jake and see for yourself. Don't put off being the best self you can be whatever that is.

Training with Jake has been a game changer for me. This last year has brought a lot of challenges to my life and my health was one of those challenges. After an appointment with my doctor and getting lab results back I had a decision to make. Either continue living a unhealthy life a face the fact that it would not be a long life, or do something about it. Jake is now my personal trainer and he is God sent. Jake took time with me as we started this journey. He wanted to know not only my physical challenges but personal challenges. Like any relationship you have to start slow and build trust and confidence. And that is what Jake has done. With Jake’s direction I have made quit an impact in just a few short weeks. My weight has dropped significantly, my core is getting stronger and I’ve never felt so confident. Jake is a great trainer, and I would now consider him a friend. Jake has the knowledge, understanding and empathy to adapt to individuals wants and needs, so they can achieve their goals.
