The plumber, Chris, came and checked out the toilet and bathroom sink. He put the chain back on the Fluidmaster in the toilet tank. Now toilet flushes fine. Determined the water in the sink was not draining properly due to gunk in the drain. Cleaned out all the gunk and now the water goes straight down into the drain and the sink is not backed up anymore.

On Friday, September 22, 2023, two very professional plumbers arrived at my home to install a Sump pump and unclog two of my bathroom sinks. Both plumbers performed quality work and charged a great price for their services. They both communicated well with each other, showed that they were very knowledgeable, and gave me great advise. I will definitely contact Drain Clean and Plumbing for future plumbing work in my home.

I’m glad that Thumbtack gives me an opportunity to evaluate the below plumber. I hired Happy Drain Guys (HDG) to install a 3” floor drain and the kitchen line all the way to sewer line with PVC pipes. HDG was supposed to back fill with gravel. On 8/8/20, HDG started the work. HDG jackhammered a little less than ½ of the way to the sewer line and refused to go further. HDG said if I wanted to install the pipe to the sewer line, an additional $3,000 will be charged. I was very surprised/disappointed about the additional charge, I agreed to pay the above charge because I wanted the work done ASAP. HDG also corrected the kitchen line; installed the laundry line and replaced the pipe and floor drain outside of the basement. HDG installed a 2” drain in the kitchen instead of 3” drain as indicated on the contract and did back fill with broken concrete instead of gravel as indicated on the contract. Therefore, next time If I need a plumber, I’ll give it some serious thought before hiring HDG again. Below is the contract: 'Replacing kitchen drain line. We need to jack hammer the floor at basement we're the floor drain is tide in kitchen about 20 feet of digging from the basement of kitchen and also the next room floor to expose the pip. Insta lling 2" cpvc pip and 3"floor drain. Back fill with gravel and concrete patch the floor. We will also camera the line While repiring the pip to see if the rest of the pip is in good condition. Project will start on Saturday August 8 and finish on August 9..."

I was in a bind. A new tenant was coming in and I needed to make sure the plumbing for a portable dishwasher was done correctly. RightNOW Plumbing was the ONLY plumber in the Thumbtack network who responded to my request. (Before I thought to use Thumbtack, I contacted 3 plumbers, only 1 of which replied, and he informed me that he didn't do plumbing in an apartment complex.) RightNOW was able to come to do the work within 36 hours of my connecting with them. Because the management of my apartment complex could not meet us the 1st day that RightNOW was on the job, RightNOW had to return 48 hours later to complete the job. Their attitude was pleasant and "can do". They also repaired a broken sink drainer and helped unclog a bathtub pipe that was draining very slowly. I was informed of the estimates of each piece of the job and given the opportunity to discuss each estimate and possible atlernatives. Their attitude is helpful, professional, and courteous. I would use RightNOW again in a heartbeat. They deserve 5 stars, absolutely.

Overall I received outstanding service at a fair price. Daud offered a ballpark quote via the app, and then an exact number in person with his brother Hamaas. The exact number was about the ball park estimate. Hamaas requested to start the Next day and met me at a local Home Depot at 7 am-He said 7 am and was there at 7 am sharp. The job was to install a bathtub with the drain and overflow, install a new mixing valve and move a toilet flange 2-4 inches (so it wasn't too close to the tub). At Home Depot Hamaas demonstrated his expertise in plumbing, by selecting the material necessary to get the job done. The tasks were a little complicated, as there were pvc pipes to cut and add too, along with copper to cut and solder in. Hamaas gathered the materials and we were on our way. Once at my home, Hamaas made quick work of the project. He worked nonstop 8am till 230pm. He did an outstanding job. As with any project there were some hiccups that were discovered along the way. Hamaas addressed these issues with ease. Overall these guys are great. They are now my plumbers. Skip the lowball offers. These guys have that old fashioned work ethic and quote a fair rate for a highly skilled worker who gets the job done quickly and right. They left this customer completely satisfied.
