Keller collective was a godsend when redoing my apartment. As a single young professional they were able to create a warm and inviting space while incorporating my personal style and keeping comfort front of mind. The best part is that they even came under budget. The amount of time and money I saved for the quality and final result was worth every penny.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My pricing is transparent and tailored to your specific needs. Here's what you should know: Free Discovery Call: Every project starts with a complimentary 30-minute phone or video consultation to discuss your vision, timeline, and budget—no obligation required. Flexible Pricing Options: I offer hourly rates, per-room packages, and whole-home pricing to fit different project scopes and budgets. During our initial conversation, we'll determine which pricing structure works best for you. Staging Services: For home staging, I offer consultation-only options (perfect for DIY sellers) as well as full-service staging with furniture rental. Staging packages include delivery, installation, and styling. New Client Welcome: As I'm growing my Alexandria-area clientele, I'm offering special introductory rates for new clients who book through Thumbtack. Ask me about current promotions! Payment Plans Available: For larger projects, I'm happy to work out a payment schedule that makes quality design accessible. No Hidden Fees: I believe in complete transparency. All costs will be discussed upfront, and you'll receive a detailed proposal before any work begins. I'm committed to delivering exceptional design that fits your budget. Let's chat about how I can transform your space!

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We start with a discovery call where I learn about your space, your vision, and how you actually live in your home. I want to understand what's working, what's driving you crazy, and what you're hoping to create. This conversation helps me gauge scope, budget, and whether we're a good fit. Next I'll visit your space (or do a detailed virtual walkthrough) to get a feel for the layout, lighting, and potential. From there, I develop a design concept that reflects our conversation—mood boards, space planning, and initial product selections. The process is collaborative throughout. You're involved in every major decision, but I handle the logistics: sourcing, vendor coordination, ordering, delivery tracking, and installation oversight. My goal is to make this easy for you while ensuring the end result is a space you genuinely love living in. Timeline and deliverables vary by project scope, but I'm transparent about what to expect from day one.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I learned what 'home' really means by having to create it over and over again. Growing up in a military family meant a new address every year. Each move brought another set of blank walls that felt temporary and impersonal. But I learned something in those transitions: the right design choices could turn any space into somewhere that actually felt like home. That's what drives my work now. Good design isn't just about aesthetics—it's about creating spaces that support how you live and make you feel at ease the moment you walk through the door. I started Keller Collective Interiors after years of helping friends and family transform their homes. What began as informal projects turned into something I couldn't ignore: I'm good at this, and I genuinely love doing it. Now I call Alexandria home with my partner and our two dogs—which means I understand firsthand that beautiful design has to withstand real life. Muddy paws, unexpected guests, the couch that doubles as a nap spot for both humans and pets—your space needs to work as hard as it looks good. I design with that balance in mind, because the best homes are the ones you can actually live in.
