I initially hired FixTman, but they were a mess in communication. They said the appointment didn't go through, then they kept changing the time of the appointment. They could no longer come in the morning, so I canceled and hired Quality Pro Handyman/Movers instead because they could guarantee someone for 10am and would help me move a dresser down a flight of stairs. or so I thought. at 9:55am they contacted me to ask if someone could come in the afternoon instead. The soonest they were able to send someone was 12:00pm. It was a sideboard assembly. After two hours, including a few breaks to make/take phone calls, he was not done and said he had to leave. I cleaned up most of the mess and someone came about 20 minutes later to finish. He finished in about 10 minutes. The doors look a little uneven to me and there is a bag of unused screws that I hope is not important. I had to negotiate a lower price since they were two hours late, the first guy left, and they did not help me move the dresser. they communicated throughout but I would not hire again.
