I hired John Walton to install a new kitchen for me, which involved, among the usual carpentry work, the completion of some minor plumbing (hooking up dishwasher, garbage disposal, water line to refrigerator, etc.) and electrical work. He installed electrical fixtures such as outlets, switches and light fixtures, ran dedicated circuits, and installed lights. Even with tall ceilings and plaster walls, all this was not a problem and he did the work neatly and professionally. He was truly a pleasure to work with. I appreciated his reliability and accessibility - every time I had a question or concern he responded within 5 minutes. He was easy to work with in terms of changes and modifications (there were quite a few) and we worked it all out equitably. The quality of his work was superb with no mishaps along the way. I have done about a dozen rehabs in another state and can honestly say John ranks up there with the best of the best. Along with the high quality of his work, I most appreciated his pleasant demeanor, his reliability, his knowledge and execution of the work to be done, his timeliness, flexibility in working with our schedule, and the fair price for which he did all the work. I will definitely be calling him again!

I originally hired Kevin Williams in June 2011 to remove an old shed and and all of the building materials and debris my husband left behind when he moved out. Not only were his rates reasonable but he worked so fast and did a great job that I hired him to do all of the things I wanted done to transform my house into my home. He painted a couple of rooms, put up porch rails, a privacy fence, crown molding, replaced locks, replaced the front door and screen, put up porch light and flood light, replaced light fixtures, moved thermostat, replaced my hot water heater, cleaned gutters, dug up my broken cement walkway, landscaping, and on and on. Next he will be laying tiles on my kitchen floor and putting up a french door to my living room. Kevin took ownership of the project and with his creative input and excellent workmanship, my house is now my home. I consider Kevin to be Central Virginia's undiscovered gem.

Wes and his dad did a fantastic job removing the aging wallpaper from our dining room and kitchen, adding some drywall to the ceiling in our powder room, and priming/prepping everything for paint. We are very pleased with the results and their hard work and already working on a list of other projects to get their help with.

Mr. Vincente was prompt, professional and productive. I recently added two rooms to my home and he installed new duct work in order to add heating and air conditioning. In addition, Mr. Vincente cleaned my HVAC system, painted a few rooms, installed shelving and did some light landscaping. Mr. Vincente was receptive to my needs. He always had a smile on his face and he was willing to do anything that was requested of him. I will definitely be calling him for any future tasks that need to be taken care of.

Matt did a great job on our kitchen remodel. There were cabinets and bulkhead to tear down to give way to 4ft white cabinets and wood floors. This was a dramatic change for us as we live in our kitchen with our 4 dogs. Even with cabinet exchanges, he worked hard to make the changes. We highly recommend Coffey for your next job. Mr. Adams has done work in my kitchen to finish it off with sanding the walls, painting them and laying the linoleum tile floor. It looks great and the floor idea is wonderful! The linoleum tile he suggested looks like real tile. I would highly recommend him. Mike Holmes quality of work at reasonable costs!!

This is the epitome of a good small/local company. Curtis Home Improvements played a difficult role in our multi-faceted home renovation. We hired them to convert a large window to a set of french doors, build a large custom deck, abandon several electric base plate heaters, have granite counter tops installed in our kitchen, install a tile back splash in our kitchen, custom cut our cabinets and installed a wall mounted microwave, installed a dishwasher, and a sink disposal. They did all this while seamlessly allowing other contractors to come in install a new heat pump, pull up carpets and put hardwoods in one room, refinish hardwoods everywhere else, and my family to remove wall paper and paint throughout the house while I built a fence. In the process, we added on a few change orders: removing, repairing and placing new tile for a bathroom floor where we found some wet rot, skim coating areas on the drywall that were messed up from previous renovations or from removing wall paper. They performed this additional work without missing a beat, and at a fair cost. Everything looks great.

In 2012 we purchased a Colonial style house built in 1810, the house itself was structurally sound, however not much had been done cosmetically, so it was "tired" as some would say therefore it was in rough shape. Over the course of eight months Stephen and his crew worked for us renovating our old house, building our garage, and doing various projects.. We found his crew capable, articulate and very responsible. Our renovation consisted of of building an addition and two porches, a deck and a new kitchen all that needed to appear as part of the old structure, the guys achieved that beautifully. He came within our budget, his subcontractors were also exceptional. We are greatly pleased with the results and so love our house, with it's warm and cozy feel. i am especially satisfied with my gourmet kitchen and our custom made heart pine cabinets of which they made from the old floor that was in our attic , the cabinets are stunning.

Dawn installed a new Kitchen Faucet and did a remarkable job. It took a little longer than anticipated because of a rusted bolt, however, she stuck with it, removed the old one and installed the new one. Great job. We will definitely hire her again.

I would like to thank Mr. Carroll for a fine job on my Kitchen Remodel. My kitchen was such a disaster. Now it looks like it came out of one of those magazines. My wife is so pleased. Thanks again Mr. Carroll.
