"My husband and I hosted a Thanksgiving dinner for 35 people the weekend before Thanksgiving. We wanted a traditional Thanksgiving meal where the food could be dropped off and placed in steamer trays w/ racks and sternos. The event was at a subdivision community center. About 3 weeks before the event, I met Kimby at her office (which happened to be near my home) and reviewed the menu and I sampled one of their cupcakes with cream cheese frosting--absolutely divine! They sent me home with 6 of them--yummy!
I wanted to make sure the portions would be substantial for 30 people and I was assured there would be plenty (I had 5 more people show up--making it 35). And there surely was plenty to go around. For the event, there was a turkey roasted with herbs and onions-- moist and tasty. I had a ham that was delicious too. Seasoned green beans country style with ham pieces in it--everyone loved it. The sweet potato casserole was superb with the pecan topping. The stuffing was moist and the mashed potatoes had chives for a topping. We had a very good turkey gravy which I used a small crock pot to keep it warm. The whole berry cranberry sauce was very good and the rolls came in 2 big boxes--plenty to go around. I am now making homemade turkey soup with the carcass and bone meat. So the turkey is going an extra mile for soup. All my guests commented on how good the meal was. Kimby provided styrofoam take home boxes for guests to take home leftovers. They also provided 2 beautiful containers to serve tea and lemonade. The 48 red velvet cupcakes were scrumptious. We were very pleased with the food and service. I needed ice and Class Act ran to the store for me and got the ice after they dropped off the food. A great mother/daughter team. Would I use them again? You bet!"
