These guys stepped up on MLK Jr. Day when my other movers bailed on me. A holiday! I get off the phone, Charlie has found a babysitter, and he and his men are at my apartment within 2 hours with little to no notice. Move-in process was a breeze. These guys are good, efficient, and extremely personable. We moved a fairly stuffed 1 bedroom in less than 3 hours. I was really impressed with the fact that Charlie is right there in the middle of the action. You know all of your stuff is being watched carefully, and you know the owner takes a lot of pride in his business when he's at the frontline. I HIGHLY recommend this company over any of the others. I've discussed several quotes with others on Thumbtak, and now know that this company's 60 mile work radius, flat rates, and professional yet personal demeanor made the moving process almost fun. I will use them again. And they will be the only moving company I recommend to others.

Timothy helped me with my move from Baltimore to a studio apartment Washington, DC. The main pieces were a few large IKEA furniture and many boxes of personal items. It took a few hours from start to finish. Although he was on vacation at the time, Timothy arranged for my move from Trinidad. He was quick to adapt to challenges presented by my furniture and the narrow corridors and stairwells they had to go down. I was very satisfied with my move and even had time to go hang around my new neighbourhood before starting to unpack. Timothy was personable and friendly. He is the type that rolls up his own sleeves before asking his team to chip in. It was great getting to know him and he has the best recommendations for Ethiopian! All in all, I was very satisfied. Aside from a few dents in the wall from very challenging furniture and some miscommunication, everything ended up just right. Thanks!

Awesome response time! The staging professional was knowledgeable, cheerful and experienced with an impressive portfolio of previous work. They completed the job quickly but professionally and equisitely. I am very impressed by what they were able to accomplish on such short notice. When it is time for me to finally move I will definitely be using their packing, moving and unpacking services!

Zandra was very intelligent and sensitive with helping my fiancé organize and get rid of unnecessary things. We plan to grow our family, but my fiancé was struggling with creating much needed space. I think Zandra is more than just an organizer she is a family hoarder therapist :-)
The organizers from A New Leaf who worked with me were wonderful. The arrangement is that there is a "lead" person plus one or two additional workers. Each person has different strengths, and my lead person was very helpful with getting the right people in for what I needed done and arranging for each person to work to their strengths. I also have to say that everyone pitched right in to do whatever needed to be done. At times that meant packing things, or going through stacks of papers, or even helping to move furniture around. By the end we had given away, recycled, or thrown out tons of stuff, and pretty much everything that remains has a place it belongs in the house. Much neater, more organized, and cleaner!
From begginig to end- great communication, and excellent execution of job. He even went above and beyond and helped by moving pieces of furniture from room to room. Very personal and professional. I am going to hire him again.
Liz and Dionne were great. I wasn't sure how to get my home organized. Previously I had been turned down by two Organizers on Task Rabbit so I almost gave up hope. Once they got here they went straight to work. No breaks😨. They gave me recommendations on were to put things and tackled task I felt were impossible to tackle if I had did the work on my own. They helped me organize my paperwork into files, helped me take out trash, and organize my clothing. Shoutouts to them. I wasn't sure how I was going to get my living room declotterred.
Candace is fantastic! She transformed my small townhouse closet into an efficient space I can now hold both summer and winter clothes, and our formerly junkie garage into a completely organized cleared out space. She was punctual and professional and great to work with, highly recommended!
Carman and two assistants surveyed our home that for a variety of reasons had slid down the slope from "clean and organized" to in need of help and TLC; and in one amazing morning put everything to rights again. Prompt (actually unloading a little early, she and her team were already cleaning at the start time time; no one else has ever done that) and took on a task in the way one would hope of a family member who lived with us. I had to leave for the last half of their time with us this morning but I was simply dazzled upon my return at results that exceeded my rather high standards. We've had cleaners before who accomplished their check list in a professional manner and earned their fee. Carman, and her team bested all the checklist providers by a long shot... she/they were fabulous, including effectively addressing a couple difficult cleaning issues that had always eluded those before her. We can share them with the rest of you who would be lucky to be Carmen's clients, but you will not take her and her team away from us. Lhet is more than just an organizer - she is a powerhouse! She declutters, consolidates, and deep cleans meticulously as well as organizes everything herself so that it is easy to find any item you are looking for. She is also empathetic to the stress that this kind of work can cause for other people and is able to deftly manage the emotional side of decluttering. She initially reached out to me on Thumbtack to organize my parent's house and when the job ended up being more than met the eye (there was a massive mold problem that was not known going in), she rose to the challenge beyond anything imaginable. She helped me coordinate with the other people working on the house and worked tirelessly day and night to help us meet our organization goals. Lhet is now working with my dad on his apartment because she is so amazing at what she does. She has changed my parents' life and has been great about following up on the final details of the organization. Truly, she is the embodiment of "Lhet there be light!"

I just needed some help to remove dead trees, shrubbery, and leaves from my yard. Not only did Adrian help with the labor part, but he also provided some great ideas to help us clear the yard more efficiently. He said they also do cleaning and organizing and I plan on hiring them to help organize and clean my basement.
Ashli had cleaned my apartment as I moving out and she even offer to help with the moving process(which was a bonus) but cleaned my apartment from the back to front and even made sure the ceiling wasn’t dusting at all. After she was finished the apartment was ready for the next tenant. I had her clean my new place for me as well and she also organized my kitchen and office area of my new home. She is awesome, professional person but she put the extra love into her work and she is one of a kind. I will hire her services again.
