Tom has been outstanding to work with. He is patient, flexible and takes the time needed to produce a quality product. His mastery out the English language and inserting key words necessary to accentuate properly the experience in my resume took it from what I thought was a very good resume to an outstanding resume. Tom took the time to go line for line, word for word meeting in person to develop the updated enhancements to my federal resume. Highly recommend Tom to anyone looking for such assistance.

I could not seem to score well on the ACT. I ended up with Arbor Tutors and had a tutor who met me every week for 8 weeks and when I took the test and got an excellent score (33). Worth every cent.

Aura was an excellent Spanish tutor that we used for developing conversational Spanish for our work travels. She made the lessons each week enjoyable and engaging. Aura was always flexible and understanding when we had to cancel last minute or reschedule. Will hire again!

My son is a junior in high school and we desperately needed a tutor to help him in AP Calculus. Michael has been a huge help with matching us up with a tutor. Michael listens and fully understands the needs of a student and family struggling in a subject. He took the time and effort to select a tutor that best fit our son's needs and personality. He scheduled an initial "get to know you" session with my son so that they could learn more about my son and to understand his current study and classroom habits, etc. The tutor follows up after each session with feedback on what was covered, what needs more attention and how things are going. So far, so good...and I, as a parent, feel like we are in great hands. I appreciate Michael's attentiveness to our situation. I look forward to seeing my son succeed in this class! I highly recommend A+ Club for Student Success.

Mr. Mougy Ahmed has done wonders as a math tutor for our sophomore son! He has a very agreeable, non-threatening tutoring style, and our son enjoyed working with him right away. Our son was getting D's and C's in Algebra II , even with the assistance of a previous math tutor. Mougy came to our house and immediately recognized where our son was misunderstanding foundational concepts in Algebra II, and worked with him to build up that knowledge base and apply those skills correctly. He has been highly responsive in setting up tutoring sessions, sending additional lessons/exercises via email, and even holding extra sessions in advance of math tests/quizzes. As a direct result of Mougy's tutoring, our son earned a B+ and an A on his last two math tests. We highly recommend him to any student or parent who is searching for tutoring assistance.

My 17 year old son is a fairly tough customer when it comes to interacting with academic support, fortunately for us, Will Spach happened to be our first experience with Varsity Tutors. Will definitely has a professional presence about him that earned him credibility with both my wife and I as well as my side early on in our first meeting. He immediately assessed my sons strength and weaknesses and was able to zero in on the tutoring plan that brought my son’s scores up by 200 points in 8-9 weeks. I highly recommend Will Spach for any high school each student looking to improve their college SAT scores. Mike

Ms. Belle has tutored my twins since September 2016. She is great with them and they love working with her. I have seen significant improvements in my kids' written ability in terms of clarity, volume, flow, and style. They are in the 5th Grade AAP Level IV program in FCPS and are now comfortable constructing multiple paragraphs to express their ideas or tell a story. My daughter is especially confident and excited in her writing since working with Ms. Belle. My son's ability to write about his passion for sports has soared. The effort is reflected in the last two report cards and in the grades that they receive on their language arts projects. I highly recommend Ms. Belle as a language arts tutor and we will continue to engage her services.

Andrew Sun To whomever this concerns, Before I signed up with this tutoring program, I was not very good academically. In fact, I was the worst in the toolshed. Knowing that I have no time to lose and my bleak future is upon me, I did what many people think it's best; To join the military. I didn't know what to expect of the navy to be honest, so I was unaware of the test you need to take called the asvab. My heart sank a little. I began searching on the Internet, looking for a tutor (especially on math) until I found out about Theo. Theo is the CEO for student circle and unlike other tutors; he is the only one that stood out. He is understanding, ambitious, and kind, but most importantly he can relate to you, creating a special bond which prompts you to succeed. So I explained to him my situation and he set me up with another tutor by the name of Xin. Right off the bat both of us got along and he helped me through two grueling months. There were times when I wanted to give up, but he was there for me. The funny thing is, he is going through an exam as well during my time with him, so he is the hardest working tutor I have ever came across. I swear, these two do actually care about me because when I took the asvab, I scored high enough to achieve some of the most coveted jobs the navy has to offer! These two will forever be part of my family. Student circle has the best sessions as well as memories. Thank you. Andrew

Dale was a great ACT tutor, especially when it came to teaching an international student the ins and outs of the Reading and Writing sections. Since we started working two weeks before the test date, Dale laid out a great strategy of drilling practice tests and helped us find our weak points to review. He had a great base of resources and experience to help us not only with tactics and test taking skills, but how we could apply these study techniques to a broad range of tests and classes.

I started with her tutoring my 6 year old son in reading/writing he excelled after one report card quarter and was on grade level in no time! So I decided to face her tutor my 10 year old in Math even though he needed extra attention and modified work due to his learning disability ms P never gave up and remained professional always communicating with his teacher as well as myself and husband. He is now on grade level. Both of my boys have been tutoring with ms p for over a year! I like her style of teaching and her consistency. She really pushes my boys just enough!

Nancy Halsey has written grants for our organization for almost 10 years. She has exceptional writing and editing skills. After Nancy wrote a particular grant, the foundation called me to say it was the best well-written grant they had received. I have never received a phone call like that before. Nancy is professional and honest; she uses research and wisdom when writing grants and talking with employees. I highly recommend her for any writing opportunities that you may have. L. Mary worked with my son (a sophomore in high school) for nine weeks, and the change in my son's confidence with writing improved significantly. Starting in first grade he developed a dislike for writing, which over the years turning into almost a phobia. He was so intimidated by the process, that he would rather fail than turn in an essay. As a result, he never really learned HOW to write, and his anxiety increased. Mary worked with him, starting with the basics of how to map out and organize a persuasive essay. What took him hours before, he was able to accomplish in less than half an hour. It was very empowering, and helped him considerably with facing writing tasks. One thing that I didn't expect with a writing tutor was Mary's incorporation of subtle life coaching. She had him examine his motivations and his goals. They even did personality testing. I think it was very eye-opening for him to have the chance to look at himself from a different vantage point. Her approach is very supportive and validating. She knows what to ask to make you (both the student and the parent) feel important and interesting. Finally, one of the things I appreciated most as a parent, was that she sent me an email after every session detailing what they had done and explaining her plans for the next session. I can't recommend her highly enough.

Gaston Lopez has been an awesome tutor. He helped my daughter go from a C to an A in Geometry. He helped her go from an B to an A in history. This year he helped her understand her trigonometry to become more consistant with her test scores. Gaston explains to the students on their level so they understand the concepts. I am really amazed with this young man ability to work with young people. I am very thankful for him and so is my daughter.
