Mickie is one of the best instructors I have ever worked with. He pushes you, as an individual, to the level that you need to be pushed to. I have been taking his classes for over 2 yrs, and Monsters and Machines is definitely the ultimate class to take. I, highly, recommend it to everyone who is looking to step up their workouts and looking to get in better shape. I encourage those that have never taken his classes and those that are looking to lose weight to take it as well. He is hard working and will work with you to make sure you are doing the exercises the correct way. Mickie is tough, but he is fun. You walk away from these classes with a sense of strength and confidence.

Describe my experience working out with Kenneth Mickie? That's hard to do. It's impossible to put into words the feeling of strength and accomplishment you feel, the pride and satisfaction you earn from working beside someone like him. That's right, I said working beside him. He doesn't look down on you for your faults or weaknesses. He pushes you to not only look past them but to overcome them. He teaches you that your only weakness is yourself. I've worked in fitness for 10 years or so and I have NEVER, never been so inspired by someone. It is an experience like none other and it really can't be described, only experienced. It doesn't matter what level of fitness you think you are. You haven't experienced anything until you've experienced Monsters&Machines!!

I have worked with several trainers over a long period of time. Kenneth Mickie has been the best of that group. He has pushed me to limits I haven't been able to reach in 20+ years. His classes are bar none the best I've ever been in. Despite being in a group setting, he makes it a point to interact with each individual by educating, correcting and motivating you to levels you didn't know were possible. I've been attending Monsters and Machines regularly for over 6 months now and have no plans of ever stopping. I've managed to lose 16lbs during that period and continue to gain strength and endurance. Monsters and Machines is an intense workout that make you want to keep coming back for more. I've never had a class make me want to be there as much as this. I look forward to more and more classes with Kenneth Mickie. He is a professional, intelligent, class act. If you want to get fit and want to push yourself to levels you didn't know possible, work with Kenneth Mickie at Monsters and Machines. You'll be happy you did.

What did Kenneth Mickie help you with? Where was the job? How long did it take?
I first started attending one of Mickie's group exercise classes in 2012 at my local gym. I always left his class inspired and wanting to do more to meet my fitness goals. I recently started working out at Monsters and Machines and it has been life changing. I have been an athlete most of my life and served many years in the military and Mickie's training sessions are unlike anything I have ever endured. My strength, cardio endurance and overall health have drastically improved but most importantly my self confidence and drive to be better have skyrocketed - all thanks to Mickie's leadership.
Say what went well
What impressed you about the service?
Every class I have attended at Monsters and Machines has been intense, personal and a lot of fun. The classes are always small and intimate which is important to me. Sometimes group classes can be overwhelming and you can get lost in the crowd. Those that attend Mickie's classes are like family; all are very close and everyone really motivates each other to push harder. Mickie mixes up his workouts and no two workouts are ever the same.

Mickie always gives his clients 150% of his time and his passion for helping others is unsurpassed. He provides more than physical training to his clients - he is a life coach, and a resilient leader.

What would have improved your experience? What went wrong, if anything? How could Kenneth Mickie do better in the future?
I drive over an hour to workout with Mickie which takes a lot of coordination with family and work obligations but it is TOTALLY worth it. However, it would be nice if Mickie could open a gym a little closer.
