We hired Shovanna for my sons 1st birthday party. Only one word to describe , it was Fabulous!! Shawanna planned my baby shower, and my son's 1st and 2nd birthday parties. All 3 events turned out beyond expectations. Each theme was carefully thought out and perfectly executed. Shawanna has a very intricate eye for detail, so you can expect everything to be creatively crafted, from the invitations down to the favors. The favors are definitely always one of a kind. My favorite is the balloon arches. Hard to believe they are handmade; they look like something out of a catalog. I would definitely recommend Exclusive Bashes for anyone who is planning an event. It will surely be one to remember.
I first had the pleasure to work with Mommy a la Carte during my surprise baby shower. Tamika planned engaging games for us to play along with every detail of the celebration from securing the venue to the catering. When it was time for my son to arrive, Mommy a la Carte helped me plan the design of my son's nursery and to consider some of the details I wasn't even thinking about! My son's room turned out great and was functional for sleeping, changing, and those late night feedings. Mommy a la Carter helped me with the planning of my son's 1st, 2nd, and 3rd birthday parties. Tamika worked with me to flesh out ideas and think about the most creative solutions. All three birthday parties for my son turned out great! Tamika was very easy to work with was patient with me as I asked questions and she provided very thorough responses. I was impressed with her creativity and ability to 'think outside of the box.' I look forward to continuing to work with Mommy a la Carte in the future as my son gets older.

We never had a wedding ceremony and reception when we eloped 10 years ago. Now that we had the funds, and our 10-year anniversary was coming up, we thought it would be a good time to finally have the wedding we never had. I am so glad we hired a wedding planner. We knew we wouldn't have time to research the vendors, nor know which vendor to choose, and we wanted everything to go smoothly on the day of the wedding. Tynise of Pure Elegance Events did all the work we knew we didn't have time to do and presented various vendors for our wedding for us to choose. She stayed in constant contact with us throughout the preparations, and followed up on our questions and comments via emails. We told her exactly what we wanted, and she made sure to make it happen. Even though we started the planning a few months later than normal, Tynise made everything work while staying within budget. On the day of, Tynise brought two assistants to help out the bridal party while she was running logistics with the hotel coordinator. Even the DJ commented on how she was on top of things. When everything was over, she and her assistants helped the hotel staff clean up everything that evening, both in the ballroom and ceremony room, so there was no need for us to wake up early the next day and clean up. Nothing went wrong on wedding day. Absolutely nothing. Everything was set up perfectly, and we were able to view the reception set up before the ceremony began. We also tried to help out by giving Tynise a printed layout of how we wanted things set up, a full list of the ceremony and reception items, the wedding party's names and contact information, and specific requests as early in the planning as possible. Tynise and her assistants, Amanda and Katie, were the best. Hiring Pure Elegance Events was the best decision we made.
Gloria spoiled us with an excellent quality of work as our event planner. She was focus and organized during our reception and worked with all vendors to smooth out the rolling of each segment. I really don't think we would have had such a successful reception without her dedicated work. So thankful....

I have hired Suzanne twice, once to cater my 50 birthday party and most recently she was my wedding planner (2015). What is most amazing is how well Suzanne listens. When planning an event, especially a wedding it can be extremely stressful. You have numerous ideas but so often they are difficult to express. Somehow, Suzanne had the ability to take might, what seemed like random thoughts, and clearly summarize what I was saying. From that point she had numerous ideas. For my wedding she created a fairytale theme wedding, from a shoestring budget. It was beautiful. For my 50th birthday, Suzanne catered the affair. Everything was delicious. Suzanne was very calm, even when I was stressed and kept saying "I got that, don't worry about it...now go have fun!" If you are seeking a creative, out of the box stylist/caterer who listens and provides a superior product then Suzanne Sparkman is the person for you.
Chef Terry did a cooking demo at my birthday party and was a huge hit! He was as entertaining as he was skillful and knowledgeable. Everyone had a great time! He taught us how to make inventive (and tasty!) appetizers, desserts, and even a few specialty cocktails! I can't wait to use him again!
U planned my fairy tale wedding and it was spectacular! People tell me still how beautiful of an affair it was...U are the best! I don't know anyone else who gives so much of their time to an event and treats each one like its her own!
BP was our event planner for a sweet sixteen party that involved many moving parts, including food, decorations, entertainment, a very picky sixteen year old, and 70 of her friends! The event was well planned and went very smoothly.
