Janet is extremely professional and warm. Voice lessons can be very personal, and Janet achieves the balance between guidance and connecting with you as a person and a musician. I had been singing for about ten years when I worked with her, and was looking to improve on my technique, so finding a voice teacher who could teach adults with experience was imperative to me. I enjoyed my lessons with her and continue to use several of the warm-ups and vocal drills that I learned while working with her.
We went to Tara for guitar lessons for my 11 year old daughter. Tara makes it fun, very knowledgeable and easy to learn with. She's super sweet and the kids just love her. She's a good example and a beautiful person.
We unfortunately only attended one of Bryan's drum lessons .(only because my four year old wouldn't practice). Bryan was great! He even had on Aladdin, upon us arriving which made my daughter extra comfortable. It was a great ice breaker for them to talk about. I would absolutely recommend Bryan to anyone needing drum lessons ages kids to adult.
Jeremy is professional and talented. His work with my 13-year-old daughter has greatly increased both her skill level and her confidence. She's eager each week for her vocal lesson!
Really enjoyed the first lesson. Jordan had great feedback and ways to help vocal issues.
I came to Scott as an insecure teenager unsure of my vocal capabilities. Scott coaxed out a more confident, committed singer, but also a more confident self. His approach to singing is holistic, and he interweaves lessons of vocal anatomy, self-awareness, and patience alongside hard skills and vocal training. He is excellent at reading people and making even the most nervous of singers feel comfortable and supported. Scott is still one of the best teachers I've ever had--the world needs more like him!
Having been into singing for around 5 years now, I've found out about a market of products created for the purpose of studying the art of singing at home. Being a serious student of singing, I decided to invest in one of these programs to supplement my lessons. Singing Success got me absolutely nowhere. After a couple of weeks, I completely stopped using it, because there was no direction. Around 2 years later, I decided to try out CVT. It offers a book, along with recorded exercises. It was much better, but it still felt like something was missing. How was I to make sure I was doing everything right? The forum was dead. I had been studying singing for a few years, and this was something still on my mind; not having somebody ensure you were practicing the program properly. I cannot imagine how much less confident an absolute beginner might have felt, facing the same thing. Around a year later, I stumbled upon The Modern Vocalist Forum. Observed Robert Lunte provide very detailed feedback on several submissions by aspiring singers. I was pretty impressed with how things were broken down. I had already known about The Four Pillars of Singing, for a while, and I thought it wasn't for me. After seeing an explanation on how it could be used to transform your head voice into something that sounded strong, while still retaining full use of falsetto, I was intrigued enough to take the plunge. After a few months of ownership, I have absolutely no regrets. The Four Pillars of Singing is the only system out there that offers a comprehensive book, video tutorials, and an active forum, where anything can be clarified by the man himself. You can tell this is something made by somebody who cares. It's a completely foolproof method. Whether you're an absolute beginner who desperately needs guidance, or like me, you've been at it a little while, and you're looking for a way to take things to the next level. There's enough depth and science involved in this that even a voice expert can appreciate this system. As an owner of The Four Pillars of Singing, you're not just the owner of a vocal program that you can use at home; you are a student of TVS methodology, and you will no longer be left to figure things out on your own. It's the closest thing to having a voice coach without actually signing up for lessons. It's all laid out right in front of you, and there's nothing left to do but practice.
I had 0 experience singing and just after a few lessons my friends and I have noticed many improvements.!
We just started our daughter's lessons but Cayce is a well organized and professional who loves her craft. She has been very helpful in answering our questions and determining our short and long-term goals. Her website is very well done and a great aid in tracking our daughter's progress, lessons, and for communication.
Started taking singing lessons with Maddy as a complete beginner. She's been so kind, patient, and supportive and is wonderful about explaining how the voice works. I highly recommend her!!
When I didn't have the money to pay for vocal lessons my daughters freshman year he put her in his open spots free of cost. He knew her talents and we appreciate his work with her.
I have been studying Vocals with Sami for 2 years. He is an amazing instructor, he is patient, kind and a blast to learn with. Every lesson is designed for me based on my progression from the week prior. He is always available to speak even when I don't have lessons to offer additional help. Thank you Sami for helping me become a better singer.
Our 10 year daughter has been under Shireen's tutelage for almost two years, and is already becoming a fine pianist. She is also turning into a very good vocalist! Shireen has never been anything but positive, helpful, and understanding. She is always very thoughtful in the way she teaches. She explains everything, and why it is important, making it easy for the child to understand WHY. She expects the same courtesy, punctuality, and attendance from her students, that she herself gives 100% of the time. We couldn't be happier with the choice we have made for our daughter's piano and voice lessons. Highly recommend!!
Vannessa has been providing voice lessons to my 10 year old for a month now and the student is enjoying them immensly.
Our daughter has taken voice lessons with Aaron for about 3 years and really loves her time in his studio. Aaron has a wonderful ability to connect and has really helped her become the confident singer she is today. Bitterlake Studio is an extremely warm, positive, safe and inspriring environment and Aaron is the most supportive teacher. He is a very talented musician and a passionate and artistic person. His presence puts her at ease with a confidence to explore her strenghts and weaknesses. We are so grateful for Aaron making it a challenging but very fun learning experience for our daughter.
Melanie Stevens is an amazing vocal teacher. I have seen tremendous growth in my daughter since she began lessons just 6 months ago. In addition, she has gained more self-confidence as a performer. I would highly recommend Melanie Stevens.
She had an instant connection to my granddaughter and she got a lot out of the first lesson
Anna is very knowledgable and explains techniques clearly. We have a lot of fun at our lessons, but at the same time quite a bit of progress is made.
Working with Millie has been a pleasure. Our granddaughter is enjoying her singing lessons with Wendy! Highly recommended and very satisfied!!

I love teaching music - piano, voice, and marimba. My many years of working with children and adults has given me insight on how to teach -- for each individual. My goal is for the student to enjoy learning, have fun and desire to play or sing - for self and/or share the joy of music with others.
