Dave, Matias and the team at TransBlue were amazing to work with throughout our project. They adapted to changes as the project scope shifted and provided valuable expertise in completing our project so that it is functional and beautiful. Our project included demo of existing deck and paved patio, building new composite deck, installing new deck rails, design and construction of new stamped concrete patio, installing a covered area including electrical work for power and lighting. When something didn’t turn out as expected they resolved the situation immediately. We highly recommend Transblue to anyone who is considering a large or small project to enhance the beauty and value of their property.

We are very please with the work completed by NCON. They did an absolutely fabulous job. They had great communication throughout the project. We are so pleased. Dealing with Dave was amazing, he was onsite daily to check in with his guys and walk us through the project! The daily walk throughs were great because we were able to ask questions, and make adjustments right there on the spot! We had a retaining wall, irrigation system, synthetic turf, concrete patio, arbor, and new lawn installed for us. The cost was just over $70,000.00 and Dave stayed right on budget! We are truly so happy with Dave, NCON, and our investment! You would make a good decision by hiring this company!

I am honestly at a loss for words to describe how nightmarish this experience has been (and we've lived through a months-long DIY kitchen remodel with only a geriatric, alcoholic handyman to guide us). Our project was supposedly simple enough: replace our small, weedy patch of lawn with artificial  turf and add a set of TREX stairs to our deck. We were promised a late June start date and were told that such a small project would likely take no more than a week. It's now nearing the end of August and this project is still not over, and getting more nightmarish by the day. Since our project was "small" (a measly 10k), we were pawned off by Transblue to a small sub-contractor that I later discovered they had never worked with before and hadn't even bothered to vet. After 2 full weeks of terrible communication and a crew that worked no more than 2 hours a day only to disappear off to more important projects, we were left with a massive debris field in place of a yard... at the height of summer, the day before the 4th of July. We managed to rope off the  gravel/dirt death trap and keep our guests mostly un-maimed that weekend, but the worst was yet to come. The full scope of horrors is too much to describe in detail, so I'll make an abbreviated list: -  Waking up one morning in the middle of Seattle's hellish heatwave,  intending to water my plants, only to find them all crushed under the weight of yard debris. RIP my perennials. It was lovely watching you return year after year for the better part of a decade, sleep well forever. - Waking up another morning to find a shoddy, cracked and splintering set of wooden stairs erected in the dirt pit (how do you even find pressure-treated posts that are already splitting along the edges?? Transblue's crew managed to find 4!) Also, I'll remind you here that we were quoted over $1500 for 100% TREX composite stairs. -  Waking up yet again (seeing a pattern here? Being gently roused by the icy feeling of dread coursing through my veins is my new normal) to find black aluminum stair railings being installed instead of the TREX we were told would match the rest of our deck. And then being told they'd be painted to match our deck, only to have them painted the wrong color. And then told they'd be repainted again. - Did I mention that Transblue brought in a new crew to tear down the hack-job stairs and rebuild them in TREX, but in the process they had to rip out a large patch of freshly-installed turf? Because that happened. Normally this  wouldn't be cause for too much concern, because any turf pro can patch  and repair turf, but this isn't the "Transblue way." No, instead of bringing out an experienced turf installer to repair and reinstall the  turf correctly, Transblue decided they'd spent enough precious cash botching and then attempting to fix their mistakes, so they'd just stay the course and do more of the same. So we had the same guy who painted our railings 3 times performing a complicated turf repair. You can guess how well that went. (See visual aids!) - In the same vein of "we spent way too much cash on this project, let's continue to cut corners because what could go wrong," Transblue had their project manager come out and replace our 3 dead emerald greens himself, instead of a landscaper. I watched in disbelief as he pried the dead trees out with a quick scoop of a shovel and plopped new ones in their place, root balls exposed about 6 inches above the soil line, and then called it a day. For reference, here's how the job is described in their bid: "Install emerald green tree 4-5 ft. Excavate soil 2 times the root ball. Install fertilizer. Install new planting soils. Install top soil collection saucer modeled from soil created. Water in after install." Pretty, right? If only. I could go on and on about the awful communication, phone tag, missed deadlines (what even is a deadline?) and broken promises but I'll end here for now, because I am completely tapped out of emotional energy. This project was meant to make our outdoor space a little more fresh and fun for the summer, but instead it's caused our family so much headache and heartache and stress. Oh and summer is over, but this project is not. I have never regretted anything more in my life. I just want to go back to my simple little weed patch. If we ever come to any sort of satisfactory conclusion to this project, I will update this review. But for now, pray for us.
