Inside the Rig is one of the best discoveries I’ve ever made. Brent is attentive to detail, thoughtful when coming up with training programs, and does so with the utmost professionalism and a smile on his face. If you’re looking for exceptional fitness coaching with a team that really cares about you and your goals, then look no further. Check out “A Little Beauty and a Lot of Beast” for a stellar 8 week program!

My time with Brent almost always starts with him asking me this question, “how are you feeling today?” and I can not imagine a trainer asking a client a better question. I started working with Brent after recovering from a herniated disk in my neck. It became clear to me that the injury was partially, if not fully, due to my less than stellar physical condition. I decided that I needed a new path forward to improve my fitness. I had always just been a cardio guy and I knew that at age 56, I needed to try new approaches to my fitness and that I would need help. As the CEO of a public company, my schedule can be challenging and my expectations high. Brent has managed to work with me on flexible scheduling and to consistently meet my expectations. Brent and I have now been working together for three years and my fitness level is exponentially better. Brent has introduced me to weight lifting, CrossFit workouts, high intensity interval training and more - all with an emphasis on proper form. We started slow and have steadily ramped up the difficulty and intensity as my fitness levels improved. Brent and I have weekly training sessions and he prepares home/travel workout assignments for three more days. Our workouts together are almost never the same and are always a challenge. Three years later, I am feeling great and may be in the best physical condition of my adult life and best of all its been both challenging and fun.

The RIG program and trainers provide an excellent platform for motivation, accountability, injury recovery, and customized training on the go, no matter your experience or level of fitness.

I met with my RIG coach seven weeks ago, new to CrossFIt, a bit out of shape and suffering from residual knee and hip pain from a previous surgery. My RIG coach took his time to understand my goals, recognize areas of improvement, and focus on those areas with patience and care. Together we've focused on my lifting techniques, conditioning, and getting familiarized with CrossFit. I'm starting to integrate into a CrossFit class routine, while continuing to meet with my coach on a weekly basis. I am working towards a weight-loss goal, while incorporating medium-high intensity and strength training for hockey and skiing performance. In 7 short weeks, I've noticed a significant improvement in strength, speed and stability on the ice. Residual pain in my hip & knee has pretty much gone away, and my core and hips feel much stronger and more stable. I've also noticed a difference on the score sheet. Can't wait to get out on the slopes this winter and feel the difference in my skiing performance. Highly recommend!

The RIG team is exceptional — caring, genuine, and knowledgeable coaches who design creative and effective programming. The Test of Grit events are inventive, always challenging (grit is FOR SURE tested) and are great measures of fitness, not to mention helpful preparation for other endeavors. (I did an obstacle race recently, with zero prep, but was happy to find that the Test of Grit events had me more than ready.)
