FAQs
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
It seems like every cop I've ever known has considered a career in writing, usually seeing themselves as the next Joseph Wambaugh. Most of their work is horrible. Many cops are experts in their field, but don't know how to write or even talk about it--they're practitioners, not writers or trainers. You need to identify someone who can tell your story effectively, or help you tell it by editing your output. Read your prospective writer/editor's work and ask yourself if you find it persuasive, and whether you would want to read more from this person. That's the kind of writer or editor you need.
