Introduction: I work mainly with beginner to intermediate level students from ages 8 and up. I have experience teaching and playing many different styles of music including rock, jazz, latin, R&B, rudimental snare drum, and orchestral snare drum.
I am also a strong advocate of the Moeller method.

I took drum lessons from Phil for many years. I found he is extremely knowledgeable on the subject and highly skilled in the trade, not to mention easy to be around and he always went the extra mile (even when I didn't practice). Being his student was highly beneficial and I feel I got a premium musical education.

Phil is the best! Very patient and works hard to make sure his students are not only learning but enjoying themselves. My son is shy and can seem unmotivated but Phil has kept him on track and helped him step out of his comfort zone.

Phil has been teaching for us for 10 years. He's reliable, always on time, and good at what he does. Phil's students always have good technique and a solid knowledge of their instrument. He's the best around!
