Yasmina is an exceptional counselor. My husband and I have been seeing her for a few months now, and the improvements in out marriage are astounding! She makes you feel welcome and comfortable but knows how to get to talking about things that need to be talked about. I would absolutely recommend Yasmina!
There are few therapists, counselors or other agents of change that have helped me to see the world and my place in it clearly as Betty has. Our work together, uncovering the kernel of belief that can orient or often disorient an entire life trajectory has been nothing short of transformative. Count yourself lucky if you have time scheduled to understand your life with Betty.
She was amazing the atmosphere was very welcoming and instead of me feeling like I am talking to someone who might be judging me I feel like I am talking to a friend that wants the same goals I do!
I originally started going to therapy to work through some issues with my daughter. I have received wonderful parenting tips and how to deal with a rebellious teenager. I have also been able to work through some issues from my past that I didn't want to deal with but, felt like I could let it go with her. It is wonderful to know that I have someone outside of family and friends that I can talk to. I feel like a better parent and a healthier person since I have been receiving therapy from Lynn.
We have 9 children - all adopted - and many from difficult backgrounds. LauraMaery has been able to help us with many issues we've encountered. Her advice is timely and practical. She's been able to help us see what the underlying issues are and what we need to do as parents to help our children with their issues. We've dealt with everything from minor teen rebellion to chronic running away to teen pregnancy, and she's been able to help us through it all. I highly recommend her as a counselor. She's spot-on with her advice and very personable and easy to work with.
Tonya is the most wonderful therapist. From day to day turmoil , PTSD, encouraging in stressful situations, And so much more. I have never had such a warm, loving and compassionate therapist like tonya. I think anyone who has the need, would be hard pressed to find someone as wonderful as her. She was so easy to trust and open up with. I feel safe with her. Tonya is someone you can count on when things are confusing, when you need reassurance. She doesn't try to force you into her own agendas, nor does she pressure you into things your not ready for. Her gentle loving approach is reassuring, and works. I cannot say enough good things about her.
Its very evident through my work with Heather that she is truly passionate about what she does. I appreciate that she wants to build a solid relationship with me and feel that I can trust her in this journey. As an athlete as well, she can connect on a level with me and offer up findings that she has done her own research on. Which I find very helpful. I'd definitely recommend Heather to any of my friends and family.
Zane has been a great asset for my partner and I. Through his services, we feel better able to combat the hard issues of marriage--together. I would recommend him to anyone for relationship counseling, or premartial counseling.
I've never been to a counselor before, but Tracy made me feel welcome and is very understanding of our issues and had great insight to help us.
Mrs. Post is a skilled, compassionate, professional, who can listen to help you learn to understand yourself. I'm grateful for her time and expertise, it is helping me become a better person.
This is a brief description of services Diane Spengler has given to my husband and I during marriage counseling: -couples therapy -individual therapy -family counseling -commitment to long-term growth and renewal -support and availability in times of need -follow-up concern and care I highly recommend her. She has helped our family heal through many hardships. I have recommended her to our friends also.
Theresa was a great help to our family. We would definitely go back and see her again and we have! She listens, is attentive and really works to help you with whatever issue that you are going through.
Both my wife and I are pleased with our initial meeting with Jennifer, We believe she is an awesome fit for us and are looking forward to working with her.
Bahareh Yazdi is an amazing therapist. Her skilled listening, feedback, and counseling were instrumental in helping me getting through a really hard time in my life. She is empathetic and easy to talk to and excellent at her job. Because of her support and the treatment she has provided for me, it has opened many new doors in my life. I will continue to see her and would refer her anytime to a friend in need of a therapist.
Tanya is a great counselor. She helped my wife and I get through a tough time. We both felt supported and our marriage is better for the time we spent in counseling.
A New Me is a place where you come in a stranger and leave as a friend. No matter what the issue is, whether it's relationship, chemical dependency, family matters, grief and loss, anger management, codependency, life choices, defiant behavior, or you just need someone who will honestly listen to you and give helpful advise, then we are here for you. We have better rates than anyone else and really you're not a client; you are a friend, that is why you can choose where you want each session to be at. If you want to meet at Starbucks, then we meet there. If you want to meet at Wal Mart, then that's where we meet; it is up to you and what you feel comfortable doing. In this process, it also helps those who have a difficult time making choices. Give us a chance; you will not regret it.
I am a counselor and psychotherapist who works with people from all walks of life. However, I specialize in working with kids and individuals with special needs. I work with children who have been through traumatic experiences, have anger issues and ADD/ ADHD/Asperger's and other challenges. I also work with teens and families of children that I work with. My specialization is working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. I also work with couples and have completed my Level I Gottman training and my externship in Sue Johnson's Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy.
I am trained in multiple approaches to mental health therapy including psychodynamic, object relational, existential, and cognitive behavioral as a direct result of my rich and varied clinical experiences helping individuals, families, and couples. Because of my diverse work history and interactions with clients from all areas of life, I am uniquely qualified to understand and assist you in reaching a healthier place in life. The most rewarding part of my job is being able to provide people with more helpful ideas and answers to their questions and concerns regarding their life. And even more so in being able to help them experience the possibility of a different future than the one they had always believed would be.

I am a licensed marriage and family therapist. I've been in this profession for 10 years. I work with adults, children/teens, and families on a variety of issues. Whether you are coming in alone or with someone else, I work from the perspective that you are part of a larger system that impacts how you experience others and how others experience you. With children, I use a variety of modalities including play therapy, sandplay and art. I incorporate creative modalities with adults and couples as well. I accept many insurance plans and can bill out of networks I am not in network with. My practice is in the West Seattle area with easy access to Burien, Des Moines and Beacon Hill.
