Just started my first lesson today and it was great!. My vocal instructor Megan was phenomenal. I'd love to continue to work with her. She made me feel comfortable right off the bat. I was able to single without feeling nervous and really try to see how far I could go with my voice. The first like 10 minutes I was able to hit high notes warming up with her, notes that I didn't even know I was able to hit. Overall I am really excited to see how much of my voice I can find and improve. Hope to get to work with her for my next session! - MPK
Janet is extremely professional and warm. Voice lessons can be very personal, and Janet achieves the balance between guidance and connecting with you as a person and a musician. I had been singing for about ten years when I worked with her, and was looking to improve on my technique, so finding a voice teacher who could teach adults with experience was imperative to me. I enjoyed my lessons with her and continue to use several of the warm-ups and vocal drills that I learned while working with her.
Jordan has an amazing voice. Great instructor
Taking singing lessons from AB Voice and Performance has been so much fun. I look forward to my lesson every week and have noticed improvements in my singing voice every time I finish a lesson.
I've always wanted to take voice lessons but I never gathered enough courage to actually do it. I decided to give Maddy a chance and since starting a few months ago I'd say my confidence has tripled. I'd recommend her to anyone!
Voice lessons, M. is clearly well trained, warm and she knows how to tailor ro each student
I was looking for someone to help me improve my singing for my amateur theater hobby. And I found him. Jeremy is a kind, patient, and knowledgeable teacher and I would highly recommend him. I didn't realize how expensive voice lessons were going to be but now, I don't even care with how impressed I am. He can tell just by listening to me sing, what is going on internally that is causing issues, whether its pitch, tone, support, breath, mouth shape, you name it. He highly emphasizes technique which its exactly what I wanted from a teacher. My other teachers were more concerned with mastering an audition piece. Jeremy works technique through exercises and challenging pieces which will make you better at singing any song. And not just two songs that will get you the part. I have had 4 lessons and right now its a lot of deconstructing bad singing habits, which basically feels like learning how to walk because I've never sung properly before. I'm excited to see where this goes!
Our 10 year daughter has been under Shireen's tutelage for almost two years, and is already becoming a fine pianist. She is also turning into a very good vocalist! Shireen has never been anything but positive, helpful, and understanding. She is always very thoughtful in the way she teaches. She explains everything, and why it is important, making it easy for the child to understand WHY. She expects the same courtesy, punctuality, and attendance from her students, that she herself gives 100% of the time. We couldn't be happier with the choice we have made for our daughter's piano and voice lessons. Highly recommend!!
Vannessa has been providing voice lessons to my 10 year old for a month now and the student is enjoying them immensly.
I've been taking voice lessons from Scott Farrell for 6 months. These 45 minute sessions are challenging yet fun, and they take place in a comfortable private atmosphere. I couldn't sing at all when I began taking lessons from him. Under his expert and caring instruction, I've made steady improvement and progress towards my goals. I would recommend his instruction to all of my family and friends.
Hello my name is Edward, Im currently taking Voice Lessons from Robert Lunte of TVS Vocalist Studio in Seattle Washington. My main goal when I was looking for a Voice Coach was to develop my voice so I could sing all types of music and not become pigeon hold with my voice to being only able to sing one style of music. Robert has developed unique techniques in training which no other trainers have the skills and knowledge of that Im aware of at this time. Furthermore, Robert is able to work with each individual on their own strengths and weakness. Through his training he has helped me become stronger and more confident in my singing abilities where there is nothing that I cant conquer or overcome.
I am grateful for Melissa’s help in building my confidence I public speaking and confidence overall. She digs deep to find the source of the problem and started to work from there. I highly recommends her. She’s respectful, professional and competent in delivering her lessons.
Anna is very knowledgable and explains techniques clearly. We have a lot of fun at our lessons, but at the same time quite a bit of progress is made.
Shana is a great teacher. Very good at explaining placement of breath which can be hard for a dancer such as myself. I cannot wait for my second lesson with Shana. She has a lot of knowledge to offer.
Out of all of the voice teachers I’ve had, Cayce is definitely the most memorable. On top of really knowing her vocal technique, pedagogy, and literature, Cayce truly cares for her students’ wellbeing. She is extremely flexible, professional, hard-working, and warm. I would highly recommend anyone from any length of vocal experience to take with Cayce!
Matthew is a talented teacher who is willing and able to work with me on techniques and songs that I want to do. He quickly picks up songs that he has rarely if ever heard before. He is also VERY reliable and has never to my recollection ever cancelled a lesson for any reason.
I have been studying Vocals with Sami for 2 years. He is an amazing instructor, he is patient, kind and a blast to learn with. Every lesson is designed for me based on my progression from the week prior. He is always available to speak even when I don't have lessons to offer additional help. Thank you Sami for helping me become a better singer.
Friendly and knowledgable, Larry was my piano teacher for over 5 years, but together we dabbled in voice, sax, guitar, and even a bit of drums. He tailored lessons to exactly what I wanted to do and how I wanted to do it. He can stick to the standard lesson plans, or adapt them to exactly what you want to learn. He's a good guy and a good teacher who gave me all the foundations to be confident in just about every aspect of music.

Learning to sing is fun! You can do it. Even if you might think that you can't sing, I bet you can! It's all about patience, listening, and practice. All voice lessons are tailored to the student's abilities and interests. I will work with your individual vocal needs by developing an appropriate vocal technique. This means releasing the sound, breathing, getting an effective, efficient tone, and extending the range where necessary. We will explore various vocal styles, musical theory, and improvisation too. I teach a broad range of styles from musical theatre, folk, Celtic, rock, contemporary, jazz, and some classical. My students vary in age and ability. The foundation of good singing is the same for all styles. I do not accept just anyone as a student. I prefer to teach people who really want to learn and have a passion for what they do. How long will this take? Well, that depends on your goals. Students ages 5-11 usually schedule a 30 minute lesson, while students age 12 through adult may feel that a 45 or 60 minute lesson will do the trick. Just as for any other instrument, weekly lessons are essential. If a student is really motivated to train their voice, a regular lesson time and regular home practice is necessary to hear and feel results. What are your goals? Having goals for voice lessons is so helpful! Do you want to audition for musicals, community theater or college acceptance auditions? Do you want to sing for friends and family or have dreams of going professional? Do you want to inspire confidence within yourself to just sing out listening to the radio? All of these goals are attainable! I will work with you to reach your goals! You can do this! It's all a part of us! Students may bring material they wish to work on, and I will recommend music that would be appropriate for their voice type. New students may start at any time during the year. Tuition payments are made monthly. Rates are $115 a month for 4 - 30 minute lessons, $173 for 4 - 45 minute lessons and $230 for 4 - 60 minute lessons. Students are required to purchase their own books.

I love teaching music - piano, voice, and marimba. My many years of working with children and adults has given me insight on how to teach -- for each individual. My goal is for the student to enjoy learning, have fun and desire to play or sing - for self and/or share the joy of music with others.

Her enthusiasm for teaching, her ability to bring out the best in my voice, and her joyous attitude toward life make her a treasure." R.M. "Kathy was refered to me by the music director at B.C.; he had a long list of music teachers, but he said Kathy was the only one he would recommend for me. "I was really scared going into my first lesson, and it showed by how shaky my voice sounded, but right away, Kathy was warm and encouraging. She made me feel welcome with her warm smile and kind words, but I also appreciated that she was firm and wouldn't let me get away with doing anything else short of my best. She always made me want to try harder. "Kathy has been, by far, my favorite voice teacher. I admire her amazing musical talent, her kindness and her patience. I am thankful for the way she, little by little, help my self-esteem grow." Y.L. "Kathleen Roche-Zujko is a wonderful vocal teacher. I enjoy each of her lessons and always look forward to come to the lesson. Kathleen's vocal techniques really work. She will teach you how to correctly sing your favorite song and learn sight reading. She does it in a fun and creative way that makes you want to learn and practice. I can't wait for my daughter to grow up, so she can take the vocal lessons from Kathleen as well." A.H.
