I just used HelpMovers for the first time and was highly satisfied! The entire process was very simple, HelpMovers were courteous and professional, and the job cost less than half of the amount quoted to me by two separate moving companies. The guys were running behind schedule but kept me notified with schedule changes. I will definite use again and highly recommend!!
This was a tough review to write as there were some highlights but also some severe negatives. I would probably give somewhere between a 2.5-3 stars. People Movers got back to me quickly after I inquired about a quote from them. They were straightforward and easy to talk to. The move we were trying to coordinate was a little over 2 weeks out and Elena was great and working out several different times and dates for us to choose from. Piece of cake so far. The day of the move arrived. The movers arrived in the time frame as promised and were very nice about getting the truck in the exact place needed. I walk them through our 1 bedroom apartment and they get started. This is when things start going a bit south. I've used numerous moving companies of all kinds now; full on professional movers and the slightly more budget friendly movers. I've also done enough moving on my own to know that moving is not an easy job. It's why at a certain point in your adult life, you begin to pay a moving company to move your stuff for you; it's a physically demanding job. For that reason, I never mind it if a mover needs a quick break here and there. I totally get it. However, I also expect that the movers that I'm paying for are more physically in shape and capable of the job from start to finish. It became very clear early on that one mover was great at his job (Zaran) but the other mover was not. He was very inexperienced and just not as up to the physically demanding aspect of hauling furniture and boxes for hours. It was also difficult that he spoke zero English. Please don't get me wrong; his inability to speak English wasn't what made him bad at his job but it doesn't help if I can't at least communicate basic requests, concerns or questions to him especially given his inexperience in the moving industry. We don't have a lot of stuff overall and again, having used enough moving companies by now for comparison, I know that to move the amount of stuff we have takes on average 3-4 hours from start to finish. When we hit hour 3 and we still had more to load; I realized we were going to be way over that timeframe. So I started hauling stuff to the moving truck as well, which I have never had to do with any other moving company. To be fair, I was hauling some of the lighter things but I still was hustling back and forth with the guys to get the job done which was a bummer as the point of not doing a DIY move was so that I'd have the physical energy of unpacking and getting us moved into the new place. In the end, it took considerably longer than it should have. Zaran was great and I would work with again but the problem with the more budget friendly moving companies is that it's a mixed bag of who you might get as your movers for that day and that can really change the experience. They did provide wardrobe boxes (though a couple of them were in bad shape) and seemed to have extra boxes to use free of charge (we didn't need any) and with the exception of one of our side tables, nothing else was broken or damaged as far as I can tell. Zaran worked really hard and tried to make up for the lack of the other person's capability. Zaran did offer a decent discount as he knew the move took longer than it should have, for the damage to the side table and for me helping out too. That was very appreciated and helped lessen the sting of disappointment. I tipped the movers (Zaran got a bit more as he did a much better job), gave them water bottles through out the day and they of course had use of the restrooms. Would I use People Movers again? Sadly, no. The move ended with more frustration and me being tired and not ready to jump into unpacking our place as I had hoped I would. No one was rude or mean but there was just a level of inexperience and efficiency that was a little too lacking, even with Zaran doing a good job in and of himself.
We were recently helping my mom with selling her condo, downsizing and moving to a new place. We needed the service of a moving company. I liked the reviews of Corey's company and was impressed with his demeanor, sense of humor, and professionalism when I contacted him. The move went well and the price was reasonable was exactly what he quoted for me. We had one slight miscommunication and he was immediately accountable and willing to problem-solve. I spoke with Michele on the phone who was so helpful and knowledgable and gave me great advice on how to save time and money therefore coming in under the 6hour estimate. I have used A2B Moving twice now, and both times was very pleased with the service I was given. The guys were quick, handled my property professionally, and were flexible/personable/even offered suggestions or ways to be more efficient on day-of the move. I moved to Portland the second time so they went a little out of range, and still were much easier to work out the logistics with than other moving companies I compared to or have used in the past. Would defintely use again.
This is the Best cleaning service I have ever had! I've tried numerous companies and a few individuals but no one can compare to Vagma. She does a thorough clean each and every time she comes. The cost is much better than the large cleaning companies and the service twice as good.
Perfect moving company. I will definitely hire them again. Even though they were running late, they called me and said that they would be about 40 minutes late due to traffic. They did lots of extra moving since there were two men and I explained the items move. No problems at all and I only needed a tape measure and a small steplatter, a few other items that I found. We were moving two refrigerators and some tables and chairs, a sofa and se outdoor furniture up and down stairs and all around the two buildings. The price was fair and abilutly professional services, I will hire them again. My Fridges moved so well and now are cool and wonderful. PERFECT. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Moving2Gether are awesome. They are young guys with experience. They helped me to move a 1bd apartment from Fremont to Ballard. I'm impressed with this moving startup. They were really efficient, very fast but organized, super friendly, professional and fun to be with. It's easy to get free quote from their website. They'd contact you back speedily and they were so good at answering questions. I was kinda stressed out on the moving, contacted them several times for asking questions and rescheduling. They always responded quickly and solved all with politeness. They also gave me friendly suggestions, like to reserve elevators in advance. On the moving date, they were punctual and called me about 30 mins before their arriving to let me get set. During the moving, they helped me wrap my furnitures well, and even tightened the loose bolts on my couch sofa. They moved all my furnitures and fragile stuffs with care. For my second apartment, it's hard to find a parking spot. The guy run to help me negotiate with leasing manager to let moving go smoothly. They were thoughtful to check with me how I'd like to arrange boxes/furnitures. They finished all the jobs in 2 hrs, amazing! Last but not lease, their price is most competitive. I'd use them again for my next move without hesitation and recommend Moving2Gether for everyone who wants a worry-free moving! Thank you GUYS:)
I have boxes to unpack but I don't have time to write a small novel like they deserve. But I highly recommend this company. If any of my friends or co-workers need a moving company. I'm definitely passing down this companies info. They can early/ move furniture like some true movers (no time for games type of movers lol).. Booking and setting up appointment was fast & easy. I hired 3 movers and 1 truck. Movers were professional & hard working. I believe the only break they took was the drive between my old house to my new house. I gave a 4 star rating for these reasons... As stated above the movers were professional, however they could not figure out how to take apart a crib. I had to do it myself. I also had to put it back together on my own cause they said it was for safety reasons which I guess was fine, but other times that I've moved with other companies the movers always took apart and put the crib back together with no problem. Also they didn't know how to put a bunk bed together. I had to assist which was a pain cause I have a 2 year old toddler who was at my feet some of the time. Mind you, I took the bunk bed apart prior to movers showing up to save time. But like I said other companies/movers put it back together with no problem & no instructions. Other than that my experience with All Service Moving company was good.
They did a great job, I used them for my personal move, but I work at an Interior Design firm for high end residential, hospitality, and commercial clients and have a lot of experience with installers/moving companies. The guy's 1 star review below (who is not reviewing their actual service) says they have no insurance but some professionals that have been in the business for 20+ years also don't have property insurance if they are doing small jobs. Yes, property insurance is important, but if you're just needing a small to medium move and you're really just needing a big truck and strong guys willing to work fast and are polite please consider using them. They were very professional, kind, and quick.
Jeno is a true moving specialist-a professional from start to finish! He arrived at the move-out site early and ready to go. We were moving a full 10' x 10' storage unit, plus additional boxes from our temporary house to a new house. Jeno was able to do the entire move in one trip, with his Tetris-like skills. He and his assistant worked quickly and efficiency, while taking utmost care in moving large items. Absolutely no nicks or scratches on any of my doors or walls after the move! Jeno has over 7 years of experience in the moving business and it shows. Working with Jeno was a pleasure and money well spent. I would definitely use Eastside Labor again.
I didn’t go with the moving company that had a ton of reviews, I went with these guys and I’m so glad I did. I felt like friends who cared about me and my belongings were moving me. Courteous, professional, seasoned, skilled— they maneuvered some expensive items for me and based on the way they listened and responded to my concerns up front, I trusted them. Can Management LLC is a wonderful Company. I have worked with them in the past. They have wonderful work ethics and are there 100 percent for there clients needs. Moving can be one of the most stressful experiences one can experience. (Try packing, moving and combining 2, 4 bedroom households) If you want to feel relieved and actually happy about moving do yourselves the biggest service and hire them! The price is well worth the value; you get so much for your hard earned money. Jemel, Momo, and John are hard working, dedicated, and beyond friendly. They take pride in their work and it shows! I kept joking they took better care of our things during the move than we did. They offer full service! You need to move delicates, antiques, electronics or just items with sentimental value you can trust them to handle with care. They help with packing, dismantling or setting up your things. They are also quick and efficient using their time and expertise to maximize their service. They take great direction and check in with you when needed. They give good advice when needed and communicate as they work to ensure everyone is on the same page. I'd almost move again to hire them. It was such an easy move that I wondered why I'd never done this before. Happy movers happy customers. Would highly recommend!
I had a similar experience. My husband booked another company from thumbtack(trying to be cheap) and no one showed up.. so I took matters in my own hands and hired Gentle hand moving company and they arrived within a hour and Got Right to Work They moved my 3bedroom townhouse top to bottom and NOT One single piece of furniture was broken..I AM VERY HAPPY AND PLEASE WITH THIS COMPANY AND THEY PROFESSIONAL JOB THAT WAS DONE... THANKS AGAIN FOR A QUICK RESPONSE ON A LAST MINUTE CALL..
