- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In my opinion dance instructors should be taking class as often as they can, to take time to focus on their own bodies and alignments. I do this to help me stay fresh with the kiddos, but also to prevent injury. I also am always looking into unique studio practices and looking for ways to improve my own business.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I saw a ballet performance when I was just a very little girl and was mesmerized. I went and signed up at the local studio and that was history.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look around, price check, know what the interests of your family are, and then go with the studio that feels right. Most studios will let you observe a class or even try one for free if you want to be sure!
