I've been to several counselors over the years, Nancy exceeded my expectations. She's no bullshit but also very warm, makes you feel comfortable right away, knows how to mediate a conversation, and is very flexible with scheduling. She's easy going, but also seriously committed to helping. She's pretty great. Go see her.

For pre-marital counseling, Heath has helped us lay a strong foundation for our relationship. She has, owing to her insightful guidance, given us tools for communications and conflict-resolution specific to the unique needs of our individual personalities and the ways in which those manifest in our relationship. Her attentiveness gave us great ease, helping us address our issues in a loving and compassionate manner. In short, she's an excellent couples' counselor and we highly recommend her.

Spencer was a great resource for my husband and I as we went through pre-marriage counseling. He was professional, calm, asked good questions, and had a sense of humor (which can be really helpful!). He was especially good at getting my husband, who is not used to being asked to share his feelings, to feel comfortable and really benefit from the experience personally as well. Highly recommend!

Devin is incredibly friendly, considerate, and helpful. After trying another therapist for Marriage counseling who seemed to treat us like a business transaction we loved the care that Devin showed us. We look forward to her professional and yet incredibly welcoming approach each week. She also has been very flexible with schedule and that has meant a lot to us and our crazy schedule. Highly recommended.

My wife and I went to Larry for marriage counseling. When were in a very difficult time in our lives. We were trying to buy a home and open a business. I was finishing my college degree, working full time, and my wife was pregnant with our second child. Larry taught us how to express ourselves and communicate in a way we never thought possible. He had great insight to the real underlying issues that were the root of our problems. We can't express our gratitude enough in words. We thought we were at the point of no return in our relationship, and Larry proved otherwise. Thank you, Larry.

About

A New Me is a place where you come in a stranger and leave as a friend. No matter what the issue is, whether it's relationship, chemical dependency, family matters, grief and loss, anger management, codependency, life choices, defiant behavior, or you just need someone who will honestly listen to you and give helpful advise, then we are here for you. We have better rates than anyone else and really you're not a client; you are a friend, that is why you can choose where you want each session to be at. If you want to meet at Starbucks, then we meet there. If you want to meet at Wal Mart, then that's where we meet; it is up to you and what you feel comfortable doing. In this process, it also helps those who have a difficult time making choices. Give us a chance; you will not regret it.

About

Whether you’re working through a crisis or transition, or want to change a habit, overcome roadblocks to success, or strengthen a good relationship, I’m here to help. I combine many techniques to help each client meet their particular goals.

About

I am a mental health counselor who works with children, adolescents and adults. I have over 20 years of experience. I provide in-home services.

About

As a marriage and family therapist who is licensed in the state of Washington, I provide counseling services to individuals, couples, teenagers and children. I also specialize in substance abuse and codependency issues. I have extensive experience both in California, where I have been licensed since 1993, and in Washington, where I have been living and practicing since 2002. While I have experience with clients of all ages, I currently see mainly adults and teenagers. I have recently been seeing more elderly indivuals and couples in my practice as well. I take mainly a cognitive-behavorial approach in providing my services but enlist other counseling modalities as needed. My clients appreciate that I can listen to and understand their life situations and provide them with other more useful ways of looking at their realities. Most medical insurances are accepted.

About

I am a licensed marriage and family therapist with two locations: one in Seattle and the other in Issaquah. I work with individuals, couples and families with the goal of improving strained relationships. Many times, couples hit a flat spot or crisis (i.e. affairs) and need help to negotiate difficult times, and people generally love having a well-trained third party who does not take sides, so each person feels heard and valued. I also love working with adolescents and their parents, knowing that in stressful times, new parenting skills and teens go hand in hand. One of my specialties is working with LGBT relational issues and how they intersect with gay spirituality. I have published a book on the topic and often present seminars on this issue. Individuals suffering from depression and anxiety disorders have also found my work with them to be extremely helpful and leave my office feeling better. My clients love working with me and find me very engaging and warm, rather than cold and clinical because I am interested in the whole person, not just on one single issue. I believe that the therapeutic relationship between a client and a therapist is one of the key ingredients for successful outcomes. After receiving the help they needed, many clients return to work with me when a new issue present themselves at a later date.
