I have a degree in Sport Management and Finance, but I was having difficulty finding a job in the sport industry.I hired Carly to assist me in writing resumes, cover letter, thank you letters, exclusive job leads she has access to, and more. While working with Carly I GOT A JOB IN MY FIELD AT THE NEW YMCA! :) Carly is very flexible schedule wise. For example, one of the jobs we were working on closed before we could get everything in. She extended the deadline so that we could work on another position that we found. Another example is that she extended the deadline for working with me by a week because I was on vacation during the time that we were working together. I liked that she stays in constant communication with you throughout the entire process, asking how interviews went, how the job search is going etc. She gives advice on what to do during an interview and after. She is more than just a resume writer, she is a career motivational coach. I highly recommend Carly to those whose who are looking for a career change, looking for a job, or who need assistance with interview practice or resume and cover letter writing.
Andy is a speaker who gives you exactly what he advertises. I have been in a position to view motivational, presentation, political and general public speaking events every year and most get the job done. Selling, convincing and debating, I usually go home educated on the subject matter. With Andy Vargo I was a bit caught offgaurd at how much his story got to me. Even though we weren't going through the exact same experience, he spoke in such a way I identified with him almost from word one. It was a super positive, I had more questions about myself than when I started. Why can't I do that, what is stopping me, if not now than when? Andy was also very approachable after the show with everyone who wanted a talk. I have heard him speak multiple times and feel his story can stand alone or be geared to specific groups in need of working through thier path.
Les was an excellent speaker, coach & motivator. He did a thorough discovery process with us to determine exactly what we were looking to achieve & catered the day around our goals. He was very engaging with everyone & has a great sense of humor. Newer agents gained much needed tools & insight, while tenured agents found the information to be a great refresher for their skill sets, even learning some new items along the way. I would highly recommend Les Lent for your next Seminar or Training session - you & your employees will walk away feeling empowered!
Leslie is a brilliant speaker, communicator, and a very skilled teacher who can take command of a class and move them to excellence. Leslie's teaching and speaking gift combines dynamism, clarity, and a wonderful humor all rolled into one. She keeps her audience/students engaged, allows for critical thinking processes, motivates positive responses, and creates an exciting learning environment. Jean-Pierre came and spoke at our national youth conference convention and related to all audiences. A powerful keynote speaker who has a heart for youth.
Brooklyn was an amazing keynote speaker. She instantly connected with the audience and brought great energy to the room. She interacted with the students and got them excited for the day. She shared a wonderful story inspiring members to Take the Lead and go for their dreams.

"EXCELLENT SPEAKER!!!!!!" "What an inspiration!" "Best speaker I've ever had at these conferences. She was great!!!" Event planner: "So, no Powerpoint Presentation? Do you have at least a slide show of images?" Ali: "Nope." Event Planner: "Wow, you must be a powerful speaker to not need any props." Ali: "I'd say it's more the message that's powerful enough to stand on it's own." That's from an actual conversation with an event planner and the reviews at the very top there are from that very event. I can tell you right now that I'm not the kind with her head down, glasses on, reading from and shuffling pages, there's no power point presentation or flashy imaging (other than a cool intro video). I talk the same whether it's to a friend, a customer or a room full of Harvard professors. Ok, one exception. I do dial back on the swearing in public, but other than that, spot on, Bob's yer uncle, Frieda's yer aunt and I, am "Imperfect at its Best." I tell a compelling story straight from the heart of dealing with a daunting diagnosis through humor and a silver lining standpoint, get some laughs, maybe we all wipe a tear or two and when it's done, you're less afraid of cancer (and the other things that scare us), energized and inspired. There's big applause, even bigger hugs and affirmations and a slight dragging of the feet as we part ways because we all genuinely feel connected and had such an amazing time together (check out reviews in the Photos & Videos section). Oh, and sometimes I sing. That's a unique element to my speaking engagements is (when asked) I'll perform one of my original, Americana songs. It's my way of showing appreciation to the docs who saved (and keep saving) my lungs. Another nice touch is offering attendees a keepsake of the experience. My books and music CD covers are also customizable and make an excellent memento for conference goers. Also, for those who like a "Home town girl done good" story, I'm proud to say I was born and raised in the beautiful Pacific Northwest~
