We're building an Acessory Dwelling Unit and needed a site plan constructed in a short time frame. R&R design put together a site plan for us in just minutes allowing us to obtain permits without waiting weeks. He was hired after another architect bailed in the beginning stages of our project I would highly recommend R&R design for any home improvement or new addition project.

We hired Lawrence to help with numerous design components(new structures, remodeling existing and planning for future projects) and we had numerous issues that required not only a high level of technical competence , but also a lot of creativity to meet the aesthetics we were looking for. Lawrence met each of our needs in aces. Every inspector passed the work with flying colors. We love the improvements we made in our expansion and it has made our old house shine with new beauty. For me, finding an Architect who understands the aesthetics I am looking for is the number one most important element. As remodel or building a new structure can be a stressful event , working with someone as charming and fun as Lawrence was an added bonus. I would highly recommend Lawrence. He went above and beyond our dreams and gets my highest praise. Tara Katz

This is the second home that Paul has designed for us and I wouldn't use anyone else. He is responsive, reliable, easy to work with, and provides the highest quality of workmanship. He was able to capture our needs, limitations, and budget in the design. We love it and love working with Paul. Plus, I love all the complements we receive on the design ; )

I had my heart set on a curved stairway leading up to a balcony over my roof. The architects could not figure out how to do it, but Dave drew it up, took care of the engineering, and built an amazing work of art that we LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!!! thank you !

Kevin understood the project well. He listened to my wants and needs in remodeling our older home to accommodate our current ADA needs. Kevin showed me how I could open up the kitchen and living spaces by taking down a wall and still have the kitchen I wanted. He has been available for questions concerning the Blueprints whenever we needed him. My contractor did request a couple minor changes. It was my first time employing an Architect and I was nervous, but Kevin was so easy to work with; he made it a pleasure.

Our job was a gut, re-construct and three 'pop-out' additions on an existing 3,700 sq. ft. 1953 Edmonds, WA single family residence. Set on a steep slope, this Sound view house presented a number of complex drainage and interior re-design problems. Mariusz was both through and clever in terms of the solutions he offered. He extensive construction industry expertise and knowledge of local government and State regulations and practices was invaluable. If you need a job done well, call Mariusz Rynkiewicz.

Larz made drafts for me to bring a closet sized bathroom up to code level clearances so it could be easily into our less able years. His expert advice made all the difference and we were able to do a highly functional remodel as a result.

We hired JM Consulting and Design after a long interview process with other Architects and Designers. Jeff showed and certainly out shined the other design professional that we had talked to with his incredible knowledge of not only the construction process, but with his 25 plus years of design experience. Our project had an budget that was pretty tight and Jeff comforted us with his ability to not only understand our needs but to show us in detail the approach to take to accomplish our dream and how to stay in budget.

She has designed and built my home from the foundation to façade, also she has done its interior design. She is quite a genius woman who always wanted to keep a high level of responsibility and management through the entire project. More importantly, she enjoys an outstanding inherent creativity and innovation in her work as an Architect in a way that she is able to design in the best expression based on your preferences. All in one, I highly recommend her if you would like to get your project designed desirably and created perfectly.

Jim was brought to my house at the beginning of planning by the contractors I chose to do the work on my house. I particularly liked the fact that Jim would listen to me and what I wanted. He let me know what some of the things I could expect in the process. He also was up front about how much this would cost until a final decision time for me on whether I would proceed or stop the process. A misinterpretation of my first description of my desires was quickly corrected. Jim offered suggestions for me and was extremely open to change and modification of the plans. He was easy to work with and responded promptly to calls and questions from me. I would work with him in the future if I had the need of an architect.

      About

Great design does make a difference! We are licensed Redmond architects with 24 years of experience. The services we provide our clients are: site and project feasibility studies, residential remodels, new construction, multi-family and aging in place design. We also do commercial tenant improvements and light commercial design including restaurants, churches and office buildings. Our clients come to us with specific dreams about what they want, uncertain about how they can become reality. We develop a plan to help them accomplish their goals. We believe the spaces we live and work in should provide a sense of warmth, be uplifting yet functional. The following are points we encourage our clients to consider when taking on a building or renovation project: 1) Your home or business should fit to your current and future needs including accessibility and aging in place issues. 2) Good site-planning saves energy and resources. 3) A smaller efficient space may be better than a large wasteful one. 4) Creative use of space and smart material selection including green options saves resources and money. 5) Looking at different design options will result in a more satisfying project. 6) A well-designed home or building will have a higher resale value. As a possible client you may think that hiring an architect is just too expensive. However, just the opposite is true. An architect's knowledge of building methods, energy saving materials, design strategies and increased property value will more than offset their fees. A good architect will listen to your needs and design accordingly. So, what does an architect do? To us, we solve problems and design solutions- it's different every time. We believe the spaces we live and work in should provide a sense of warmth, lift our spirits, as well as being functional. The sooner you bring an architect on board, the more fully your vision can be realized - even exceeding your own expectations.
