Rosa's team did an awesome job. We contacted them on a Tuesday and by Friday they were here and ready to go. They went the extra mile by adding us to the beginning of their day, earlier than their usual start time. They told us they would be here as early as 0700, and were here and working by 0730. They did send us a text a little before 7 saying they would be a bit later than planned. It was a two women team, one who spoke enough English to get by, and the other who did not seem to understand anything we were saying. Despite the language barrier they were friendly and very professional in behavior and demeanor.
They worked hard for 5 hours straight and got our 4 bedroom, 3000 sf house in great shape. They moved big area rugs and furniture to clean under them, they dusted every single item, even in my girls' rooms that are full of knickknacks, they make my granite counters shine in a way they'd never done before. They got rid of the nasty rings inside the toilets that have been there since we bought the place. This is the third cleaning company I've ever tried, and I've never seen anyone be more thorough.
The rates are very reasonable; $25 per person per hour. It took them 10 man-hours to do the deep clean for my house, and they expect my regularly scheduled every-other week service will take 5 man-hours. $125 is very reasonable for such a good job. They also have a 10% military discount, and a 15% senior citizen discount. We qualify for both since my elderly mother lives with me, so my initial deep clean was $212, and my regular cleaning will be $106. Not bad for a huge house with 5 people and a dog!
Besides the incredibly thorough job, they have a few other things that really sets them apart.
1) The "preferences sheet" where you can write down what you want for each room
2) The wonderful, non-toxic chemicals they use that smell really light and nice (my mom and I are both VERY sensitive to chemical smells, and these didn't bother us at all)
3) the easy way they handle automatic billing by credit card
4) The friendly, personal touch of a small, locally owned business with the professionalism of a bigger company with its own website, etc.
The only thing that we thought might be improved is the way things got shifted. Items that were on the tub ended up on the sink, things on the mantle ended up on a windowsill, etc. It's not even really a complaint, just something we noticed that could be improved. Overall we were extremely pleased, and are so glad we've finally found a company that we want to use for the long-term. Thanks Rosa!
