Was on time and very helpful. Got my Home theater installed (5.1.2 speaker setup, Mount projector and screen) and also had him perform few minor tasks (mount TV and install ceiling fan). Eric allows you to shadow him while he is working through the project. Very much satisfied by his work and would certainly contact him for any of my future tasks.

Seatown Electric replaced the old knob & tube wiring in my 1930 home with up to date wiring. I chose them because the guy they sent to do the quote was very thorough, unscrewing all of the face plates in the house to look for additional areas of knob & tube. He found several extra circuits of knob and tube and built them into the estimate. If we had gone with another electrician they would have found the extra circuits part way through, and so we would not have had a realistic price expectation from the start. The two electricians who did the work were very thorough and courteous, and cleaned up after themselves each evening so that our house wasn't a wreck for the whole week. This made it a lot more pleasant to live through a re-wiring with two young children. I was very happy with my experience, and will plan to use Seatown Electric again in the future.

I have hired Steve for tree trimming and storm door installation. Although the jobs were small, he was still willing to travel from East Chatham to Schenectady to provide the service. His rates were quite reasonable and affordable, and I was totally satisfied with the work done. He was punctual and reliable.

Working with Tyler made a horrible situation into an easy solution. I work for a company out in Detroit who sells SiriusXM for business subscriptions to people all over the nation. We needed an installer for a client and no one wanted to do this (client was located on an Island and the cheapest we could pay someone to look at it was $300) then I found Tyler. Tyler not one went out there to do the bid for free, he was also fair with his pricing and his work was perfect. I used to be a field technician for home/business automation along with high end home theater equipment. My biggest rules when it comes to this is (1.Everything works great according to the client and 2.The install has to look clean, even if the client will never see it, the wires and everything has to look like it's going on display) I didn't even have to say this to Tyler. I know because this is a guy who takes pride in his work. Does it in a timely manner but doesn't rush. I wish there were more techs like him out there.

KBM Northwest is the ONLY company I will trust to do work on my new house. Mike Kennedy is highly skilled, extremely reliable and professional. I have had Mike do several jobs around my house and he will be finishing/remodeling my basement in the next month. His attention to detail and work ethic are unmatched. He is experienced and a pleasure to work with. My house has many upgrades and is beautifully designed with top of the line carpentry and other details. Mike is very careful and treats my house as if it were his own, paying attention to every detail of his work from the smallest to the biggest jobs. I have had unreliable, more expensive and careless workers in the past. As I stated earlier I will never trust another company to do work on my home. KBM Northwest's pricing is very competitive and the quality of service and artistry is unsurpassed. I recommend KBM Northwest's services to anyone, including my friends and family, Sincerely, Deborah Chance

Gary and his team did an excellent job on multiple electrical jobs throughout our home (data jacks, smart switches, ceiling fan and light fixture replacement, etc.). They were thorough, exacting and fast; explaining every detail as they went along. They isolated and described the effects of a deficiency in the home's original wiring and options for fixing it. Gary also spent the time to discuss what it would take to add a whole house generator when we add a future freestanding RV garage; including the relocation of the electric meter, and house electric and propane hook-ups. We will surely use Parker Bros Electric again!

I called Bryan to finish a fence installation that was started by some handyman I hired from Craigslist (BIG MISTAKE). Bryan was fast, efficient and a pleasure with whom to work. I ended up hiring him for a complete REMODEL of my home, from floor to ceiling. Bryan was, by far, the most economical and professional contractor I've worked with here in the Northwest. His work is of a very high quality and he is a perfectionist. Nothing was left undone, or halfway done. Each project he completed was done right the first time. He is a very hard worker, and cleans up after himself. I plan on doing another remodel on a different home and I am hiring Bryan, without hesitation. Rest assured, your work will get done in the time he states and will be done with an exceptional eye to detail. I really could not recommend him more highly; truly, best business relationship I've experienced in Olympia.

John and his assistant Mike stepped to help me with my new construction house. They've done major and minor tasks: design and build a soffit over a kitchen island, install wood backing for 3 storey elevator shaft, install a dining room soffit. I almost forgot: John quickly earned the trust of my structural engineer, the building inspector, and the elevator dealer. John is also a good listener. I will definitely be using John and Mike for future work.

I do home remodeling and one thing that's always tough is to find a good electrician. In all of the work I was doing Jason quickly became my go to guy. He's prompt, thorough, resourceful, and understands the importance of getting the job done quickly and efficiently. I've recommended him to my peers that are both contractors, homeowners, and business owners and I've never received anything but positive feedback for referring him. Jason has been doing electrical and low voltage work for me now for over 8 years and I can't imagine using anyone else.

Jon responded to my quote request within minutes and was at my apartment within an hour. It took him less than an hour to install my tv wall mount and it looks fantastic. He even took the extra step to help us conceal our cords. I would highly recommend Jon to anyone.

Todd installed a home security system that we purchased online. There are several cameras indoors and outdoors; all ceilings and walls were left in excellent condition after mounting hardware. He had several suggestions for making the cameras view more square footage while blending them into the home's architecture. After installing the cameras, he made sure that our system was connected to the internet and recording the feed. He had to troubleshoot with customer service to get it to perform correctly and he did so graciously. He is great to work with and we recommend him to many of friends and local businesses.

We have worked with Chris off and on for years doing various projects for our rental properties and home I live in now. I have had him remodel kitchens, bathrooms, outside work which has included additions, fences, decks, rebuilding my garage, repaving my driveway, building a retaining wall, installing windows, doors, floors, fans, waterproofing, you name it he's done it for me including foreclosed properties. What I really like about this company is the rates are reasonable, hes a great listener and communicator and his wife helps him run the day to day operations with emails and office work so he's not so overworked. I have hired contractors in the past that have came in demoed the job, demand more money or they disappear. Chris has either asked for a deposit and paid as work has progressed, paid hourly and than paid weekly, or what have you. Even if something did interfere with being on that job daily, he always has told me via email or called and he always keeps me updated on how things are going or if there were extra costs involved, we were notified immediately. I think most contractors try to do the work, the estimates, get materials, do the office work by themselves and i think it gets them into trouble not being able to be at three places at once so they do really well. The only complaint i have is he might show up late once in awhile but I know running a company isn't easy, I am self employed as well. I highly recommend him and his company to do remodeling and repairs. Very professional and they fix any work that has been paid for or charged for free. I have never had an issue getting him back out here to fix something that I wanted done differently or organically didn't stay put. I am avaliable for personal referrals.

I recently purchased a house and needed a number of electrical tasks performed before we moved in (ceiling fan installs, new light fixtures, garbage disposal electrical, plugs for garage doors etc.) — nothing major, but a full days work of piecemeal things. I wanted to find someone qualified who could do these things at a flat hourly rate and do it efficiently, rather than pay to install each thing individually with the home improvement store. I posted here in the evening, and Doug got back to me immediately with a flat hourly rate, and offered to come up and take a look. After we negotiated a time he came up, looked everything over and confirmed that he could do the work in about a day. Once we confirmed the work to be done and set a date he arrived on time and completed the tasks. They have all met expectations, and he worked quickly and efficiently. Best part is that he saved me about 40% off of what it would have cost to either hire the home improvement store contractors or one of the larger and more established electricians, and the work is excellent. No fuss with scheduling; I didn’t have to deal with the hell of scheduling multiple people the way I have had to with the appliance deliveries — and he seems like a friendly and professional guy. Overall excellent — I won’t hesitate to hire him again. He’s new to Thumbtack so I was a bit skittish at first because he didn’t have any reviews nor web presence but I’m extremely happy that I did.

Had Jeff over to help do some electrical upgrades in our home. We had him run wire from basement to bonus room on second floor because my husband made some changes to his sound system. Had Jeff install an overhead fan in master and replace a few outlets. We had him back to add additional lighting in our garage and added new fixtures in front and back entry of our home. He’s a pleasure to work with efficient friendly and timely! Jeff will be our 1st choice go to electrical/handyman for our needs in the future.

Owen did a wonderful job building a new kitchen in my old mobile home and in my new one. He also installed my new washing machine and dryer and stove and refrigerator, and installed new plumbing and pipes, because the old plastic pipes kept breaking. He also replaced my front deck and built a rear deck. Everything is solid and nice.
