Kasun and his team did a wonderful job catering our event. The food was excellent and our guests commented repeatedly on how much they enjoyed it. We made some late changes to the menu which he willingly accommodated. His setup was professional, and he and his team went above and beyond setting out the food and beverages as well as helping with cleanup, which we truly appreciated. His team was excellent throughout the event! They put together individual plates of leftovers for our guests to take home, and everyone has commented on how much they continued to enjoy the food. Overall, the quality of the food and the professionalism of his staff made the event a success, and we were very pleased with the outcome.

I hired Kasun to cook a Middle Eastern feast for a work party at our place, and he was excellent from start to finish. He met with me two days before the event to make sure he understood exactly what I wanted, and it showed on the day. He arrived on time, handled all the grilling and setup himself, and I never once had to check in on him. The lamb skewers were the standout, but the chicken souvlaki, grilled halloumi, grilled vegetables, and Greek salad were every bit as good, and Kasun closed it out with a yogurt panna cotta with fresh seasonal berries that got its own round of compliments. We had about twenty guests and every one of them loved the food. He was friendly and patient with everyone, and he cleaned up completely before he left. If you want someone who takes the whole event off your plate and puts out food people actually remember, Kasun is your guy! I'd hire him again in a heart beat and have recommended him to friends as well.

We celebrated a milestone birthday at our home for a 40 adult only outdoor gathering. We could not have asked for a better experience working with Kasun. Communication is prompt. He made a ton of recommendations for the menu (heavy appetizers) based on our preferences. Execution was top-notch. A lot of per-work made sure the event went smoothly and was a grand success. The food was "excellent" and presented tastefully. We had an onsite mixologist/ bartender and that recommendation came from Kasun too. Colombo Roots will be our go-to for all events going forward!

I had a great experience with Kasun. He arrived on time for my graduation dinner and prepared 27 steak dishes cooked exactly as requested, ranging from medium-rare to medium and medium-well, and 3 seabass dishes. Every guest was happy with their meal, and the steaks were cooked consistently. What I appreciated most was that Kasun listened carefully to my requests and delivered exactly what we discussed without trying to upsell additional services. He was professional, reliable, and easy to work with throughout the process.
