I've had many therapists in my day and, unlike many, Yasmina does not only sit back and listen. While some people may just need an ear to talk to, I do not. I need a counselor that can offer me thought provoking questions and give me direct tools and advice to follow. Yasmina did just that at our initial session. Both my husband and I look forward to what else she has to offer us.
I've been to several counselors over the years, Nancy exceeded my expectations. She's no bullshit but also very warm, makes you feel comfortable right away, knows how to mediate a conversation, and is very flexible with scheduling. She's easy going, but also seriously committed to helping. She's pretty great. Go see her.
He is a great listener, hearing your words and caringly testing for veracity. And pointing out half-truths so you can dig deeper. He notices and attends to what you DON'T say, as well. As a coach counselor, he is truly aware, empathic, insightful and speaks from a wealth of experience, having truly sought out life and lived on with wide-ranging experiences that have given him wisdom and perspective at what all men go through in life.
Christina is a wonderful and warm person who has been helping us navigate through difficult times. I think her empathy as a counselor is amazing.
There are few therapists, counselors or other agents of change that have helped me to see the world and my place in it clearly as Betty has. Our work together, uncovering the kernel of belief that can orient or often disorient an entire life trajectory has been nothing short of transformative. Count yourself lucky if you have time scheduled to understand your life with Betty.
Leo is calm, knowledgeable, affordable, kind, understanding, thoughtful and all around a great counselor. Highly recommend.
We have 9 children - all adopted - and many from difficult backgrounds. LauraMaery has been able to help us with many issues we've encountered. Her advice is timely and practical. She's been able to help us see what the underlying issues are and what we need to do as parents to help our children with their issues. We've dealt with everything from minor teen rebellion to chronic running away to teen pregnancy, and she's been able to help us through it all. I highly recommend her as a counselor. She's spot-on with her advice and very personable and easy to work with.
I've never been to a counselor before, but Tracy made me feel welcome and is very understanding of our issues and had great insight to help us.
Katie is a superb counselor. She guided me through a huge transition in my life when I was feeling very conflicted about moving across the country. Katie helped me resolve this issue by getting me to relax and tap into my self so that I could discover what the resistance was all about. After our session, I felt invigorated with a sense of confidence and assurance that my decision was the right one. I am so grateful for the experience and her willingness to help assist me through my life-shifting decision.
Diane is by far the best counselor I have ever worked with. She is gentle, thoughtful, very skilled and highly intuitive. I recommend her highly without reservation.
Needed a mediator/counselor to aide in resolving interpersonal issues. The experience was highly professional, and educational as well. Not only were my issues set on track for resolution but I was given tools and knowledge to better understand myself. A positive environment. Welcoming and friendly.
Bahareh is helpful allowing me to talk out loud, and thereby understand or disentangle my thoughts and feelings. This is especially important, when a person has been under significant amount stress, pain and confusion, trying to dismantle and figure out the chaos in one's life during an abuse. She also works with other professionals to provide the necessary steps to achieve my emotional and mental wellbeing.
Mrs. Post is a skilled, compassionate, professional, who can listen to help you learn to understand yourself. I'm grateful for her time and expertise, it is helping me become a better person.
Skilled therapist and chemical dependency counselor. Important for clients who have addiction issues and want to work out life issues. It takes knowledge of chemical dependency to work with people who are addicted. Linda is the person to help you or your family.
24/Male - I saw Zane for 6months to help me through a severe bout of major depression/anxiety. He was very understanding, but will not join in with your pity party, unlike some other less useful therapists do, in order to keep you coming back. Instead he made me realise how narrow my negative view of the world was at the time and how to broaden my attitudes and expectations instead of letting them sour and aiming for perfection and disappointment As well as how much easier ,more enjoyable and more realistic this is! He maintained solution-focused throughout and convinced me that things can get better, quicker than you think. And they did. I found Zane to be easy to talk to and very approachable, though he always maintained a professional client-therapist relationship. A few months on it's hard to believe the person I was before. Though I owe the enormous progress I have made to a number of people, places and things (as well as my own efforts) I am adamant that Zane was instrumental in helping me to gain momentum and feel unstuck.
Tanya is a great counselor. She helped my wife and I get through a tough time. We both felt supported and our marriage is better for the time we spent in counseling.
A New Me is a place where you come in a stranger and leave as a friend. No matter what the issue is, whether it's relationship, chemical dependency, family matters, grief and loss, anger management, codependency, life choices, defiant behavior, or you just need someone who will honestly listen to you and give helpful advise, then we are here for you. We have better rates than anyone else and really you're not a client; you are a friend, that is why you can choose where you want each session to be at. If you want to meet at Starbucks, then we meet there. If you want to meet at Wal Mart, then that's where we meet; it is up to you and what you feel comfortable doing. In this process, it also helps those who have a difficult time making choices. Give us a chance; you will not regret it.
