I began Studying with Keith Purvis at the age of 7 after 8 years I played in the Highline Community College Jazz Band and the Fred Radke (former Trumpeter with Harry james) Band. I continued my education in Edison New Jersey with Charlie Tapp. After that i Returned to Seattle to continued My studies under Bill Cottic.I retuned to active playing performing with Jazz pianists Overton Berry Larry Coryell, Diane Schuur, Herb Ellis, Noel Redding, Buudy Miles and Mitch Micheal. I have played and studyed under the wing of some of the greatest teachers and musicians around. TECHNIQUE, SPEED, POWER, and ENDURANCE, LIGHT TOUCH and FINESSE PLAYING MOTIVATING YOUR STUDENTS TO BE THE BEST AND SETTING A STRONG CRISP AND FRESH EXAMPLE OF THIS. The technical part of drumming is important but most forget about the Art of playing drums interpretation and tapping the creative mind in mastering the art of drumming.
