I have been going to Stoneway Crossfit for slightly over a year now. I just feel bad that I did not know about them a little earlier in my life. I thoroughly enjoy working out here. I like their class limits and friendly coaches who give everyone one on one attention. Very motivational people all around including fellow workout mates. Hannah’s no-nonsense approach to training is perfect for those who are serious about reaching their fitness goals. She is attentive to individual needs, not only able to provide guidance not just in the gym, but at the table too with a customized nutrition plan to compliment workouts. Hannah is meticulous in perfecting form, while also pushing to bust through plateaus with varied workouts to attack each muscle group. At the same time, she is mindful of any injuries one may have, and is never stumped for an alternative way to get the same workout in. Respectful, yet direct, she will keep you accountable for what you put into the gym without completely destroying your soul, encouraging you to dig deeper to push out that one extra rep, or rally for that last set to make it the best set. If you’re looking for the perfect balance in a trainer, you just found her.
Frances has been perfect for me during my transition from competing in Triathlon's to taking a few years off from the sport. She is very knowledge in all phases of life nutrition and most importantly understands there are many ways to approach nutrition and is willing to change her recommendations as the persons goals change. I guess I should describe myself first: I'm a woman, I've hit middle age and my body and metabolism have totally changed since my younger days. I started having knee pain because of being overweight, so I began working with Paul to lose this excess weight, get healthier, and get in shape. I didn't want to hurry it or get stressed out (or excessively sore or starved). I wanted it to be a real lifestyle change, so we would meet for 30 minutes three times a week. And wow! In a year, he helped me lose 30 pounds and get strong and fit like I've never been before in my life!! I always looked forward to working out with him at the gym because he is so encouraging, positive, non-judgemental, and helped educate me about nutrition and fitness. I now know that eating good healthy food isn't hard to do, it just meant uting good food and weaning my taste buds away from super fatty fried & fast foods to actual foods that are not processed. So fantastic. (And "cheat meals " are ok as long as you plan for them!) Truly a life-changing, life-enhancing experience working with him. Working out and eating well were no longer a chore, but became a joy as I achieved my goals! Goodbye knee pain, hello the good feeling of post-workout muscle strength soreness (endorphins included)! Oh, another benefit: living in the dark Pacific Northwest, I found that working out in the winter completely got rid of the SADD. So: If you are serious about what you want and where you want to go with diet and fitness, Paul will get you there. And he's such a nice guy, too!
I was treated with respect and yet his desire is for you to reach your goal. Steve also was encouraging and guided. He was avaliable by phone or email. He throughly got my information that pertaining to health and excersize. He followed up with me at least 1 or 2 times by email or phone. I initially found Nourishing Journey Nutrition when I was training for an upcoming trail run. I became interested in plant based diets last year when I learned about an Ultra distance runner named Scott Jurek setting the record for fastest thru hike on the Appalachian trail. It is amazing that he was able to do that on a plant based diet. I had been experimenting with meat replacements and eating oatmeal instead of bacon and eggs. I began to realize that this lifestyle change was possible but I may benefit from a little support and guidance. I met with Anna in here comfortable office setting in Kenmore. I found Anna easy to talk to about my goals. She was very supportive about the changes I had already made and was able to easily identify ways I could continue to transition to eating more plant based foods. Since our meeting 2 months ago I have experienced a huge reduction in post exercise soreness, I feel like my endurance has improved and my skin has also began to clear up( an unexpected and welcome side effect to healthier eating.)
Everything Elijah has taught me has been absolutely great! He listened to what my main focuses were and we focused on that and nutrition! I can already feel a slight difference in my body when I changed my eating habits which made me feel great! I would definitely recommend my friends and families to Elijah he's awesome!

She has crafted meal plans for me, shared her incredible recipes with me (she experiments at home and the results are spectacular) and offered emotional support and a listening ear through challenging moments. I have had the opportunity to practice yoga with Leslie, do nutrition consultations and share in therapeutic conversation and I would recommend any and all services she offers.
