As best man, I had agreed to help the reception run smoothly. The wedding was great but the weather became menacing and the finishing touches on our outdoor reception were not going as planned. Then our DJ cancelled last minute. I was stressed out and running around like a crazy person trying to drag the wedding sound system over to the dining area when the gusting wind blew over a dining canopy and table settings. That's when Chef William came up and told me he was done putting the finishing touches on the Beef Bourguignon. I thanked him and told him about the DJ. In a reassuring tone and with a twinkle in his eye, he said he would use one of his wedding playlists and that it would "all come together." He then told me to hand over the mic and he would organize the tables getting to the buffet. Chef William changed the whole tone of the event in the best way. He created unity among our guests, directed tables to the buffet efficiently, and adorned the dessert buffet with chocolate lava cake and homemade ice cream, all while poking some good fun at revelers making a second dash for lava cake. He then teed me up in the most respectful way to take over the mic and do toasts. His cooking was exquisite, only to be surpassed by his leadership, poise and people skills. Thank you Flora and Fauna for saving the day!

I hired Flora and Fauna for two Holiday Parties. One was a heavy hors d'oeuvres for 20ish and another sit down lunch for 11. The food was beyond expectations and my guests raved. They loved the food being prepared in front of them. Jake was my chef, he arrived on time, set up, had the food ready on time, boxed the few left overs (he planned well) and left my kitchen clean both times. So many of my guest said, "Best _____(fill in the blank) I've ever had!" I will definitely call them again for my next event. Thank you Flora & Fauna and thank you Jake!
