Tracy is an outstanding teacher and I am happy to give her my highest endorsement. I've been a student of hers for many years, after becoming interested in learning jazz saxophone as an adult. Tracy has a both broad and deep knowledge of music. So she can provide a wide range of coaching advice from practical tips and tricks to deeper discussions of principles of music theory. She is very accomplished, so she can challenge very experienced students as well as beginners. And importantly, her passion and enthusiasm for music is always evident which makes every lesson a pleasure. My son 14 year old has taken saxophone lessons from Tracy for four years. My other children have also had private music teachers, as have I, so years of personal experience backs me when I state Tracy is an excellent teacher that any student would be lucky to learn from. She hones in on her student's needs and is able to explain what should be happening in order to get the student to the next level. She does this while making lessons enjoyable. Tracy truly is the music teacher you were hoping to find for your music student. She has an unique blend of professional standards balanced with a warm friendly demeanor. Her constant creative mind makes lesson very engaging. In addition, her musical knowledge is extensive. She can answer any questions and steer her students in whatever direction they want to go. Tracy has been an outstanding clarinet teacher for my teenage son for two years. Her easy going personality is a good fit for this age set as well as sometimes uncommunicative boys. Unquestionable her knowledge and talent as a musician are superb. The improvement I have seen in my son's playing since he started lesson with Tracy has been remarkable. For years my son took unenjoyable music lessons before working with Tracy, now he has discovered a genuine joy in practicing his instrument and excels in his high school band class.

Tracy teaches both of my children, one clarinet and one tenor sax. They love working with her, she supports what they are working in their school bands in addition to playing music they like (jazz), working on improvisation and generally understanding music better. Her work with them has given them more confidence in their musical ability and most importantly, grown their interest in music.
