Lindsay's Violin Studio

Introduction: I teach at a studio in Seattle's University District. I teach students ages 3-18 of all levels. I particularly enjoy working with younger students. I teach mostly using the Suzuki method, but also supplement with other materials. I believe that learning music and playing the violin should be both challenging and rewarding. I work with each student to set and achieve their individual goals. I believe in creating a warm and positive environment for students and parents. I expect students (and parents) to be willing and able to do daily practice for the best results. have a Bachelor's in violin performance from the Eastman School of music and Master's from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh PA. I have over 8 years teaching experience, and have been teaching here in Seattle for the past 2 years. The studio is 21 students now with room for more! My rates are: $60/hour $50/ 45 min $40/ half hour I offer free 1/2 hour trial lessons to potential students. Please email me with any questions and/or to set up a lesson! Weekly 1/2 hour lessons are recommended for young beginners.
