My experience taking music lessons from Jeff was great: he was flexible with times, always encouraged me to keep up the good work, and brought something new to the drum set each week as well as reviewing previous lessons. You definitely want to go with Mr. Samson!
I am an intermediate-beginner the mid 30's. I am impressed by Simon's easy-going and fun instructional style which at the same time is methodical and draws from his long experience in playing instruments and performing and his obvious passion for music and teaching. I am focusing on classical guitar but have taken advantage of Simon's versatility in interspersing my regular lessons bass lessons once in a while. The biggest challenge for adult music-lesson-aspirant is that of time and flexibility. Simon has worked perfectly being very flexible and accommodating. Even if you are an absolute beginner his warm, friendly and engaging manner of teaching will make you feel like you're visiting an old friend to jam and have a good time. Going to Simon for lessons is one of the highlights of my week that I eagerly look forward to. Highly recommended !
My son is thoroughly enjoying lessons and I appreciate that he is engaging my son on his own level rather than forcing a certain methodology
Post Falls Music Academy is a wonderful place for music lessons. The teachers are enthusiastic, patient and make learning fun. Our son really enjoys lessons with his teacher.
I’m not very sure what value and punctuality means but it must mean something good and Scott is a really good teacher, we have fun while lessons, and he’s really gets me motivated to learn new things on the guitar.
Mary gives my 7 year old daughter (beginner) piano lessons. Rather than have one style she wants everyone to follow, she picks and chooses depending on need for the particular student. She teaches how to play with emphasis on good posture and position and encourages improvisation and song writing and playing by ear - that's not to say that sight reading is neglected, however. There is a nice balance. She's always very cheerful and patient, too.
Sean responded quickly to the post for lessons. Very professional and helpful. Did great with my teen daughter who didn't want to be there in the first place (I just wanted her to try it). Personable, able to meet her at her level. Taught in her language (teen language) which was effective. Highly recommend Sean and want to come back with my son, who actually wants to learn.
I have three kids taking music lessons from Sam and we previously attended "Music Round." Sam is great with my kids. She really knows how to bring out the best in each one of them. She worked with my daughter who has some special needs to find just the right type of lesson, patiently trying a couple different instruments until we finally settled on voice lessons.
Kevin Wakefield combines his broad musical experience, his knowledge and aptitude for technology, and his distinct musical vocabulary to create a fun, unique, and comprehensive learning environment for all ages that will have you sounding like the pros sooner than you ever imagined.

I am a music teacher with a bachelor's degree in music education from K-12. I teach piano, saxophone, clarinet, flute, recorder, and music theory. I also have background in the Orff music method and enjoy using instruments to teach group general music lessons. I love to tailor your instruction to your needs and desired result.
First meeting/lesson: no charge to you. This meeting will determine whether we might have a favorable "student/teacher" relationship. Future lessons: pay only what you can afford to pay me, or the amount you feel the lesson was worth to you. I am humble and have always believed in the "reap/sow" factor in life. If you were born with a "gifted ear", I will teach you how to first tune your guitar to the song you are wanting to learn - that will enable you to actually FIND the basic guitar chords being played in that song.
If you are trying to make your voice rock, then look no further. I can teach you a wide range of singing styles. I specialize in rock and metal vocals, but I am also into most music. I'm always looking to push the envelope.
I pride myself in providing a fun, safe, and educational environment where students can excel, experiment and grow into a well round pianist! I teach my students music theory, sight reading, to read, write and at proficently. In addition to the method books that I use for lessons I have prizes, competitions, games, and various other fun activities that I add to lessons to help keep your student interested.
According to Heinrich Heine, "where words leave off, music begins." I offer piano lessons for the beginner student new to music. We'll start at the very beginning and move forward at steady pace comfortable to each individual student. The students will focus on the skills and technique needed to play the style of music that interests them the most.
I have been teaching piano for over 40 years and have my BA. I am all about the hands-on approach and have a real knack for teaching people how to master the piano.
Over the past eleven years, Scott has enjoyed an active career as a performer, composer, accompanist, and instructor. The diversity of both his educational and professional experience have left him well versed in a wide variety of musical settings. Though Scott's first love is jazz and blues guitar, he also has had the opportunity to play with a number of Northwest based rock and indie groups as well as to compose and accompany for the Seattle dance community and the James Knapp Orchestra. As a young musician, Scott was hired to play in the pit orchestra for Stage Door to the Future, a theatre program for youth with Eastern Washington University's theater department. Scott studied composition and music theory at the University of Oregon (Eugene, OR) where he also became well versed in ear training. He later transferred to Cornish College of the Arts where he completed his BFA in performance. Scott has recently founded the group Soul Trauma, an original rhythm and blues group that debuts his role as a lead vocalist. His wide range of experience has left him with great appreciation for many different styles and disciplines. Scott has worked extensively with students of all ages as a freelance guitar instructor; a substitute teacher at Discovery School, a K through 6th grade institution (Spokane, WA); and as a guitar instructor at Musical Mind Studio (Mercer Island, WA). Watching his students progress over time and find themselves in their instruments is one of Scott's great loves. As a teacher, he constantly strives for a one-on-one relationship with each student, always searching where his experience and skills can best serve the individual. Above all, Scott has a great passion for his craft, and he hopes to share his experience with many others. I look forward to working with you! Scott Williams
I am a college student who is looking to give lessons to all levels of guitar players for $10 per 30-min lessons. I know music theory, classical guitar, rock and numerous soloing techniques. Improve your musical ability within weeks!
I have studied the Suzuki method and am currently attending school at Spokane Falls Community College. I am earning my associate of fine arts in music. I have taught piano lessons for 2 years, and I absolutely loved it! I need to find a way to earn some money and since this is something that I love, I am all for it! I will travel to you as long as I can do so on a bus route! Starting the second week of January, I will also be providing lessons at Music City on Tuesday/Thursday from 2-6 and on Friday from 4-6. I can read music well, and we start off in this method with teaching children to train their ears! We do not start reading music right away, but it will come!
