Theo was very prompt and well-worded in our communications, and set me up with a tutor in my area quickly. I'm looking forward to more of my Japanese language lessons!

I took Spanish lessons with Sarah over the summer, and it was excellent. She helped me set up a plan of what I wanted to learn, when I wanted to learn, and how I wanted to learn. She recommended a mix of Latino music and other Spanish artists, in addition to preparing an assortment of worksheets and packets for me to complete and learn from. When we met (weekly or whenever worked, for whatever amount of time we had decided on the previous week), she would go over the competed worksheets with me, and help me improve upon anything I had missed or wanted to know more about. We met at a public library near her house for a few weeks, but moved to her home for a quieter location for conversational Spanish. She went above and beyond the usual 'worksheets and bookwork', by suggesting music and other things that greatly improved my learning experience, giving me more motivation to learn the language and excel in my studies. She was always prompt and arrived with all of her materials. I am continuing to study Spanish in school and plan on continuing lessons with her possibly next summer, or whenever I feel I need help from an outside source to learn the language to the best of my abilities.

I officially taught Spanish conversation, grammar, writing and literature over 6 years. I have been working for language academies and education institutions for 6 years and as interpreter/ translator for over 8 years. After my bachelor graduation, I worked as an interpreter for the United Nations in the World Bank sector, and other international corporations. I have worked with students from variety of knowledge, background and age. I will be happy to provide Spanish language tutoring for class support, travel or personal interest, as it is the area of my expertise. Long Description Based on my experiences I will identify what is relevant to a student and guide them towards success.. My tutoring services cover speaking, grammar, and writing in Spanish for beginning, intermediate, and advance level, including formal conversation. There are several approaches in teaching a subject, and from my experience the most efficient way has been establishing connections between the topic and the student, which motivates and invites the student to learn and explore more. I have taught Spanish classes from beginning level up to advanced level over 30 hours each week to more than 100 students. I also created Spanish teaching materials and curriculum for other Spanish instructors who worked in the Spanish department. 2011-2012- Wrote, edited and published two articles in Spanish for The Spanish Institute for Strategic Studies.
