Introduction: Tails for Life offers a full range of services to suit all your pet's needs. Tails for Life is a non-profit organization specializing in training service dogs for children and adults in need. We offer a variety of services for the general public including; Boarding, Board & Train, Private Training, Tails for Life Academy Day School and Day Care. These services are all provided by Jake Guell, CPDT and his staff at our facility in Fond du Lac WI. We offer a 2,500 sqft indoor training/play area for those bad weather days as well as a 7,000 sqft outdoor training/play area on synthetic turf designed for dogs. Jake Guell, CPDT is a board certified professional dog trainer and behavior specialist with over 13 years experience including yearly continuing education in all training fields.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    The pricing offered above is $150.00 per week (week includes two days per week) for our Day School Tails for Life Academy. For over night stays nightly rates apply. Or for private lessons it is $90.00

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    Typical process is to speak with each new customer by phone to see what program(s) we have to offer will best fit their needs. With canine behavior it requires more than a few messages online to get a full scope of what training will be required.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    Board Certified through the Certification of Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT) Graduate of Animal Behavior College Canine Good Citizen Evaluator
