I hired Pur360 for mold testing in my home. They were very professional and I received my certified results in 2 business days! Thank you!
Mike is great. He's super efficient and thorough. He listened as I expressed some concerns and went out of his way to inspect those concerns. He was also very thoughtful about just fixing minor flaws as opposed to writing them up. As an example the house being inspected had a lose hinge on a cupboard and he went out and got a screw driver and just tightened it up. Really cares about his job and his customer. Very polite, respectful and firm. He also gave me a book at the end that's a useful tool for reviewing the inspection report and what to avoid in the future. The report was completed the same day and included photos of the house and trouble spots. It was very well written and helpful. He committed to the radon test results on Saturday at 8:30 and at 8:38 I had the results. He has a drone for aerial views and inspections which is awesome as a tool!
Wow I cannot say enough about my experience today with this service I have had my carpets cleaned every year for the last 10 years and these guys by far were the most professional they did not try to upsell me on stain removal’s and treatments they were on time and the price was right. Henry the foreman/lead technician on the job was nothing but courteous and listened to everything I had to say.
Adam showed up that very day, WHEN HE SAID HE WOULD. He found the problem immediately, and took no time at all to replace the part. Here's the extra mile- He didn't just leave when all was up and running! Of course I asked why. He explained other things may have caused that part to go bad, and was just going to cycle, and run the furnace to make sure all was right. This man checked the obvious, But instead of just waiting, he generously checked the rest of the furnace. Things that had nothing to do with the failed part! A part did look bad, but HE TESTED IT! Said it was fine. It so nice to find someone who is more interested in doing the right thing, rather than putting making money as the#1 priority. I don't take the lowest price-usually to expensive. But a feel I got the very best deal you can find!
ACS found the problem with our central air right away and fixed it. Then the tech checked and tested everything else to my full satisfaction.
We had testing done and the company reviewed our results and made a plan to return our levels to normal. Very good service and the technicians are very respectful
What I do know: IAR, Inc. was very responsive, polite, timely and honest about their work. Having mold removed is a huge undertaking and is difficult under the best of circumstances. I trust that IAR did their job well. Although some trim and drywall had to be removed and we had some repair work to be done, the men were careful and as neat as possible. All removal was discussed and was necessary to do the job right. What I cannot know: Did I give them the opportunity to get it all? I'm quite certain that they remediated all the mold they found in the areas I had them look, determined by the one ill family member. I cannot know without extensive testing ($$$) if our entire home is mold free.
Working with Steve was an amazing, POSITIVE contrast to previous contractors we've had in the house. We gave him a "test drive," by asking him to install a couple of windows. When we experienced his workmanship and dependability, we then contracted him to patch up the drywall and install the kitchen cabinets we had already ordered from another company. Dependable: Steve came when he said he would---or called when he was running late. He also went above and beyond what was "required" of him to do his job. We didn't have a car big enough to bring one of our windows home, so Steve picked it up for us, and brought it home! Quality of workmanship: His work was outstanding. Steve paid attention to big AND small details (leveling each of the cabinet doors!); carefully followed--or improved upon--the cabinet plans; touched up the paint that was scuffed when cabinets were installed; and cleaned up after himself every day. With the drywall, he took the time to go over it two or three times, until the new part was seamless with the old. With the window trim, he made a custom stain that beautifully coordinates the window trim to the cabinets, and gave me extra for our future use. Knowledgeable: He knows the code, and chooses to go beyond the minimum. He moved one of our windows, and told us the minimum header was eight inches. He chose to put in an ten inch header. When the rough work was done by the other contractors (plumber and electrician), he pointed out a couple of things that weren't up to code, and said we should be sure these details were done before the rough inspection. He helped me save thousands of dollars by walking me through how to be my own general contractor---at no cost to us. From time to time, Steve would even call me to see how things were progressing, and let me know the "next step," to keep things moving. He pointed out ways he could have saved me money on the cabinets, if I had ordered through him. We're hoping to do an addition on the house in a couple of years. When we do, we'll be calling this guy again. Thanks, Steve, for your outstanding workmanship! I LOVE our kitchen! :)
I called and they were very responsive to my request. I had been worried about Radon in my home for some time. Nick arrived on time and started testing in my basement immediately. After 48 hours he reviewed the results and what the EPA standards are in a manner that I could understand. He was very knowledgeable, courteous, and kind. I am going to schedule a complete house inspection for maintenance/ repair purposes because we have been in our house for over 30 years. I highly recommend his service. 10 out of 10.
Jeff is a life saver! Our heat went out during the night and Jeff was available right away. He quickly found the issue and fixed it (he happened to have the part in his truck) and he even made a fix so the furnace would run better in general. He made some additional recommendations and replaced our thermostat. He took the time to walk us through the repairs and tested the furnace and thermostat settings a few times to make sure it was turning on properly. So grateful for his quick response, straight talk, and very reasonable pricing! We will be calling Jeff in the future to service our furnace and AC!!
I have used Green Air care services for duct cleaning and AeroSeal Service. The latter job took almost an entire day, but we were very happy with the results. Home efficiency went up significantly. We had tons of leakage in our system and so happy we did the service. I do recommend to not be home for this, as it kind of smells in the house during the process. They also did a UV install, which is good from what I have read online. Give these guys a try.
Locke Home Inspection is so good I used them twice! I bought my first house in January 2009 and I used Locke Home Inspection at the recommendation of a friend. Boy am I glad I listened! The owner, Eddie, is amazing at his job. He knew this was my first house and he took the time to show me the basics of owning a home like how to change my air filter, how to shut off the water, etc. When I asked questions, he listened and thoughtfully answered. He never made me feel like my questions were dumb and never made me feel like I was wasting his time. His report was incredibly detailed and included pictures. What was so nice about the report from Locke Home Inspection is it included not only pictures of what needed to be repaired, but also pictures of the various "guts" of the house clearly labeled so I could refer to it later if I needed to (water shut off valve, electric breaker box, etc). I actually handed this report to repair men and they were impressed with the quality of the report and the quality of the inspection itself. Let me give you an example, Eddie is so detailed that he identified a ceiling fan that wasn't working properly in my first house whereas I have heard of inspectors who don't even turn on the lights in a room let alone the fan to test operation. Now it is July 2014 and I am buying a new house. When it came time to pick a home inspector, it was the simplest and easiest decision to make. Inspector Eddie of Lock Home Inspection was just as thorough and fastidious as the first time I used him. He once again impressed me with his attention to detail and willingness to answer all my questions. When I scheduled the inspection, he even asked me to think of anything I may have noticed when I toured the house that I wanted him to look at so he could address any concerns I had. And to top it all off, Inspector Eddie is quick in turning around a report - I had an early evening inspection and I had the report the very next morning!
Wow! Total Home Improvement was outstanding! They were very professional, clean and detailed oriented. They provided the exact service we agreed upon and finished when they said they would. I would highly recomend you call them.
I would definitely recommend Don.
The business acumen Holly provided was honest and forthright. She presented the obstacles of obtaining quality data with regard to the unexpected nuances and idiosyncratic entities related to buying a 100+ year old home with candor and a pleasant, optimistic approach. She offered options for inspection at reasonable price points and provided discounts through bundling multiple tests (Radon, Lead Paint, Asbestos and Mold etc.). That said, Brett Kelley, the president of CIA, fulfilled these expectations with a substantial level of professional experience and knowledge base as the fundamental insecurity of purchasing a home (our first, and an older home at that!) stems from the unknown. Brett placed everything on the table (so to say) and pointed out with a certain specificity the issues that most warranted priority attention. With photographs tagged with detailed annotation, his report was thorough and honest. Honest from a BUYERS vantage! A true professional and someone I would keep in the front of my Rolodex. (Does anyone use a Rolodex these days?) You can't go wrong with the CIA!
