She helped me to become stronger and more confident and in the best shape of my life! I definitely recommend her whether you are new to working out or have been for many years. He has helped me to develop better habits that make me feel good about myself and he reminds me to make ME a priority. I have been a member at Pinnacle Health and fitness for 3 months now and have been meeting with one of their personal trainers 3 times a month. She is amazing! She understands that I have old sports injuries that I am still dealing with. She encourages me and pushes me just a little bit harder each time. No two workouts have been the same, I love the variety! Most importantly though, she holds me accountable. I told her what my goals were at the beginning, the two main ones being lose weight and in turn reduce/eliminate joint/foot pain. With this in mind we elvaluate what my foot pain has been since our last session and she has me weigh in each session. These are just two of the things we are tracking. As of right now I have lost 15 lbs since starting at Pinnacle and look forward to continuing my membership. I can't wait to see my progress in the coming months!
Jo is an extremely knowledgeable and personable trainer who understands the needs of her clients. She listens intently to what's going on with me and helps isolate the areas I need. There is no one size fits all with Jo. My needs are very different in my 40's then they were 10 and 20 years ago and she helps me focus on those changing needs. I can ask her anything and she always has valuable insight. I never lifted weights or done strength training before and Jo has taught me how (without me feeling embarrassed!). I have been training with Jo for 2 years and am so thankful I found the perfect trainer for me. She is flexible and dependable. I highly recommend Jo for anyone looking to start or continue their fitness plan.
When it comes to personal training, Curtis is the best. His combination of yoga and strength training workouts are creative and effective. He helped me strengthen my muscles and increase my flexibility within a couple months. He exceeded my expectations. I recommend him to everyone.
Great trainer!! Listens and is very patient. Not pushy at all and there is no embarrassment regardless of fitness level. Kathy also is great at keeping you inspired to continue towards your goal. Best trainer I've every had!
I have been training with Shana for over a year now. She's an awesome trainer and really makes the workouts fun and entertaining! She continues to come up with new exercises and it's a great balance between weights, cardio, core work and some yoga. I would encourage anyone interested in getting fit or increasing their endurance to signup for some PT sessions.
Luis has been my trainer for years. Before Luis, I had never been in shape my entire life. I'm no athlete, and I don't pretend to be. But, for a 58 year old guy, I feel great. Luis has also worked around injuries (like a frozen shoulder). He makes working out both fun and challenging, and he's infinitely creative and flexible.
Super creative and knowledgeable. Knows his progressions and how to apply them individually to help you attain whatever movement/exercise you want to attain or perfect. Knows a lot about nutrition as well and has very good ideas for losing, gaining, or maintaining weight. All in all definitely one of the best trainers in the Madison area.
Joe has been a great friend to me for years and a few years ago when I was stuck with my fitness goals and looking for a change, I went to Joe. He developed me a workout program designed for me to add strength and lean muscle while trying to not bulk up too much. I experienced results with this program right away and all of my lifting numbers were going up! Joe was there for me every step of the way, and also took the time to go through each workout for the specific day. He was always available to answer my questions and was always just a call away for questions, motivation, and a needed spark. Also I credit Joe for the motivation for me getting into racing/run training. Through Joe, he go me into training for my first half marathon and he was there right along side me pushing me every week to run and kept me accountable. Since he pushed me into this new uncomfortable world of running, I've ran four more half marathons and 20+ other obstacle course/running races. Joe is a great motivator and he will go out of his way to help you with whatever your goal is. Not only will he help you reach your goal, he sees the potential in you as an athlete or whatever you're trying to become and he'll be there along the way to keep you on track and hold you accountable. I highly recommend working with Joe because not only is he probably the friendliest trainers you will ever be around, but he will make your training fun and he will push you to complete those goals you've been after for years!
My fitness journey started back in 2011 I had just had my first son and had gained 60 pounds. I was very self-conscious about the way I looked because I was a dancer previously and was weight conscious. I walked in the doors of Anytime Fitness very discouraged and scared, but with a lot of accountability and the help of the Anytime Fitness trainers they were able to help me gain back confidence and lose those 60 pounds since then I am able to follow my own work out regimen with the help of Amy and stick to a diet that fits my body needs. For the first time in my life I can run 5K's and overcome obstacles I never thought I could. With the help of Amy I can accomplish any goals that I set my mind to, so there is more to come.
Amber was very up front and honest about what I needed to do to make everything work for me. She helped me set a goal and showed me how to get there. She is big on eating right and has helped me to be big on it as well. I feel so much better about myself as a result of taking her information and putting it to use.
