Jim's yoga classes were energetic, leveled according to ability and fun! Jim is highly qualified to offer sessions for a variety of levels, giving modifications or challenges as needed. He had a keen sense of knowing the energy level of his students - always with gentle encouragement and a smile!
Melissa conducted several in a series of outdoor yoga classes that we held in a Northfield park. Her classes were relaxing and meditative as well as energizing and challenging. She did a great job of gearing the classes to all experience levels. Melissa was always very dependable and prompt, and she was open to our input as to the content of the classes. I would happily have her teach yoga classes in the future!
Jen's Gentle Yoga class is every time a new experience, as she moves us gently in to the asanas, tells us to listen to our bodies as we go deeper into the stretches and twists. My body is invigorated, yet relaxed after each session.
We've only taken two classes, but so far we love it. We have every intention of continuing for months to come. You don't sign a contract, you can pay as you attend if you like...it just works really well for us.
This past November on Monday nights, I, for the first time ever, started to attend yoga classes with Steph as my instructor! Steph is truly an amazing yoga teacher! As soon as I get to class my stress level drops after the crazy day I have had and as we get started I know the next hour or so is going to be the best, most enjoyable part of my day ☺️ I haven't really taken yoga classes before, but Steph does an incredible job of showing you and helping you get into the perfect position for each and every single pose you do. I have only taken classes on Mondays this past month, but feel like I have learned so much! I also am already feeling like I am noticing some of the benefits of yoga including increased flexibility and strength, along with improved breathing, and better posture. Not to forget to mention that I think it has and will continue to be so great for me post ACL and meniscus surgery. I look forward to continuing taking classes with Steph and seeing more positive results from yoga in the future! I highly recommend her to anybody looking to start or continue the amazing practice of yoga 🙏🏼 Steph is the best and has studied and done yoga all around the world and continues to do so, which makes her the best yogi and yoga instructor ever 💙💙💙

Sarah and Addy get to know their customers personally, very impressive as a new member to be recognized the second time back. They have tons of energy, keep you motivated and offer a wide variety of classes that work into even the busiest schedules. Love them!

I love Nita's yoga classes. She makes me feel like I can do anything I aim for. I like her style because she balances intense practice with calmer moments. Nita is able to create a safe space where you can growth in your yoga practice without being judged. I especially like that she takes care of everybody's alignment and well-being. Besides being an outstanding yoga professional, Nita is a wonderful person. Her happiness is contagious. When you are next to her you can feel her energy and her joy for living. She manages to make you leave the class feeling relaxed, lighter and happier. I highly recommend her classes!

Great place to work out and get individual attention and form corrections! Kevin the owner really cares about your overall fitness and will talk about the importance of eating right as well as working hard in the gym. Classes are small and those you work out with are supportive and friendly! Great atmosphere! Kevin changes workouts every time I go in so things stay fresh and I walk out having gotten a great whole body workout!
Amy is an outstanding yoga teacher and very natural. I have had the experience to be in classes she has taught, as well as work with her on an individual basis. She effortlessly made myself, and everyone, feel special and cared about. Amy is non-judgmental and warm. She knew how to make adjustments to the poses and used props to gently work with my physical limitations. Amy also challenged me to look at the limitations I place upon myself. She made sure I took care of myself by resting in child pose as needed. Amy taught at a pace that was comfortable for all levels in the room, had great music, and made yoga fun!! Namaste
Great experience! The classes are small and the trainer pays attention to each student to make sure you are doing it correctly and safely. Each class is fresh and different, and he explains the purpose of each exercise. Amazing fun sweating off fat!!!

Lion Yoga hosts weekly yoga classes that inspire each individual to achieve balance in body and thought. I offer a variety of approaches through physical practice. You can learn to gain functional body awareness and challenge established movement patterns through breath control and pose structure. Your only obligation is to be present! I also offer one-on-one/personal sessions and can arrange private group classes catered to your needs.
Yoga and Pilate classes are available seven days a week. I also provide vegan gourmet cooking classes and macrobiotic meals.
All of our instructors teach yoga from the foundation of the 8-limbed path as set down in Patanjalis Yoga Sutras. Our asana practice comes from the study of the methods of Pattabhi Jois and Iyengar. We honor all authentic asana systems and encourage our students to find the yoga system that suits their needs best. We embrace a slow, patient, methodical approach to the mastery of asana. We do not insult, injure or physically abuse our students, and do not believe in an aggressive approach. We feel that growth can not occur through ambition, competition, straining, or pushing oneself or ones students into postures they are not meant to be in and/or are not ready for. Beryl Bender Birch states: 'Patanjali feels that asana should be a balance between soft and hard, noninjurious, and an aid to meditation.'
