After having a spinal fusion on my lower back roughly 6 months ago and undergoing several months of physical therapy at one of the larger health centers; one of my friends introduced me to GI Jane fitness. I asked Jane what she could do to help me get back into shape and strengthen my core & back. She challenged me to eat better and workout appropriately for my situation. I choose Jane to help in my rehabilitation and after working with her for a short time she has been able to get me walking several miles each week and eating healthier than I have in years. She takes her responsibility of helping/training others seriously and worked with me to tailor a specific training regime that would work for my busy schedule and time constraints. I was a little apprehensive at first, but her technique and ability to challenge me to become stronger and healthier in general has been a huge success. The one thing she told me once is, It may be tough, but I will help you get through it. That saying encapsulates everything about Jane and her abilities.

The story begins about 6 years ago, when I met Steve at Xsport Fitness in Libertyville IL. I was working, and still work with another trainer over there, but Steve and I immediately hit it off as friends. He always took the time out of his busy day in between clients when I was there, to stop by and ask how I was doing, and offer encouragement and compliments, of which I really appreciated and always remembered. I was involved in many of the Xsport weight loss competitions they have called the GetFit Challenge, of which many of Steve's clients were also involved in as well. I have won 2 of them myself, and I know Steve has had numerous winners of that challenge as well. So when my current trainer was having a hard time fitting me in for an extra day at the gym, I knew who I should call, and I am glad I called Steve Steve. He was still the very friendly and professional guy I used to know at Xsport, and he was very flexible in working me into his schedule to allow me to stay on track with my fitness goals. He works me out differently than any other trainer I have ever had, and I get a great workout when I'm with him. He seems to always have something different to do. On top of that, it's hard for me to get my heart rate up, but he pushes me just that much to do that! God works in mysterious ways, and He was at work here when I was in need. Kevin is amazing! The gym that we do our training in is clean and nicer then a lifetime fitness! Kevin does each of our sessions focusing on what I am looking to improve! He is the best trainer one can ask for and knows how to motivate you to do you're very best. He takes the time to find out what your looking to improve on and what your goals are and we achieve my goals as a team! If you really are looking for a life changing trainer, Kevin is your guy!
Matt Walters is an awesome trainer, He knows what he's talking about with training each time he gives me a good workout but not where I'm hurting for the next week like some trainers have done. I trust his method,I'm seeing and feeling results. I'm so glad I found him,very professional and easy to talk to.I definitely recommend him to everyone and he's affordable.
Joe was my personal trainer for over a year and I was very satisfied with the quality of training he provided. My program included a warm-up, progressive power-lifting, metabolic conditioning, and stretching. The exercises were fun, challenging, and at times quirky. No two workouts were ever the same. Joe adapted and modified the program around my needs instead of trying to plug me into some preset routine. I learned that a person does not have to spend two hours in the gym every day in order to see results. With Joes guidance and encouragement, I was able to accomplish things I never thought possible. Joe really listens to and cares about his clients. He demonstrates a willingness to research, explain, and physically demonstrate each technique. He is not afraid to pull in movement from many types of disciplines. This keeps the workouts fresh and interesting as well as efficient and effective. Joe emphasizes life balance (eating, sleeping, exercising, etc). He practices what he preaches. He is very knowledgeable, is willing to continue learning, and has a great personality. I would highly recommend hiring Joe as your trainer.
I've been working out with Jason well in excess of 5 years. The workouts are never the same, are always challenging, and keep you engaged because they are fun. I have a job that requires me to sit most of the day and do have some soreness/pain. Jason worked with me to modify some exercises to minimize any pain and also strengthened my core. I have less pain overall as a direct result of the workouts. I've also become substantially stronger and more balanced because of the strength/stability exercises. I would recommend Jason to persons of any fitness level or fitness goals. He'll work with you, whatever your goals may be.
My daughter and son spent the winter off season working with Ryan at Right Body Fitness. He always had a workout plan. They followed the plan and utilized every minute doing meaningful work. I was also impressed with the wealth of knowledge Ryan possessed and his willingness to share them with us. I plan on sending my kids back and will highly recommend him to anyone that wants to get their money's worth.
