He pushes me forward in my workouts and offers positive encouragement during our periodic progress reviews. He is always on time and provides a full 60-minute workout, after which I am both physically exhausted and mentally refreshed. If something such as heavy traffic results in him being delayed, he sends text messages so that I can keep my other commitments moving forward. Very reliable, professional and knowledgeable trainer, and an important part of my weekly routine!

Simply fantastic. I cannot say enough great things about Chitown Trainer. I hired Konrad Koczwara of Chitown Trainer to be my personal trainer to help me get back into peak shape via strength training. I wanted to train in the mornings during the week at my gym and without hesitation, he's made it happen. I wanted a meal plan customized for me. He made that happen. I wanted to incorporate my girlfriend into workouts when she's available. He made that happen. Training prices are lower than the average and everything is completely customized to YOUR lifestyle. My husband and I have been working with 2 of Ken's personal trainers and so far we have been extremely happy with both of them. They always arrive on time and tailor the workouts to our needs and fitness levels. Each week the workout is a bit different and we are always learning new ways to optimize our routine when we exercise alone. Each of the trainers has their own style, and the styles complement each other. For this reason, we like to alternate between the trainers. It is a pleasure to work with both of them as they are both very knowledgeable and cognizant of how to avoid strain or injury. I would highly recommend Ken and his team.

He has been great to work with, providing good direction and ensuring I understand the correct way to perform exercises so I do not injure myself, while working me hard, without having significant pain the following day. Dan has been training me for the past 8 weeks and since we started working together, I've seen an incredible improvement in my strength, and my figure--this week I was able to fit back into my favorite pair of work pants that I haven't been able to fit in, in a year! When I first met with Dan I hadn't worked out in literally 2 years and was really nervous about all of it; however, Dan devoted an entire session to simply understanding me, the current state of my health, my habits, and helped me define where I wanted to be in my ideal future state. Dan then put together a customized program to ensure we could get there. As a woman, my one of my biggest concern was around "bulking up" from weight training as my body type lends itself to this if I'm not careful. I shared this with Dan and despite what I was sure would happen after the weight training, he's somehow made plan that made me smaller and noticeably toned up, and definitely not bulkier! In parallel, Dan has also really helped me with my poor eating habits--I'm a busy executive with little time to care or prepare food that is consistently healthy--and I sure do love Chicago cuisine. But every visit Dan would casually ask me what I planned to eat for the week and then give me directives on best options, grocery store lists, crackpot recipes, how to store my food, when to prepare it, and even where I can stop on the way home to get what I need for the next day :). . Dan has been a God send and reinvigorated my belief that I can take care of my health, actually meet my fitness goals, and truly enjoy it. I started training with Dan at HiFi Fitness for straightforward reasons. After 2 sedentary winters in Chicago, I had gained nearly 30 pounds while taking "time off the gym" to start my business. I was the heaviest I'd ever been and, even though I was an athlete by nature, I'd only dropped 10 pounds on my own and knew I needed help reaching my goals. That's when I started working with Dan. From the start, Dan emphasized that we were a team working toward my goals together and that the changes I wanted to see in my body required my commitment beyond the three hours we spent every week together. I like that he leverages technology to regularly measure daily progress. Every exercise is keyed in, and detailed notes for each movement goes into his iPad - and I can see my results behind a secure login website. We're only a few weeks into our regimen, but I already feel stronger, and my pants are starting to feel loose. Working with Dan is not just about making changes to your body though. It's also about learning the discipline of movement and having the mental focus to push past the limits you think you have. Dan is a meticulous technician when it comes to form. He isn't a trainer who will just show up and stand over you counting reps. Every movement is intentional and he'll make sure your form is right. He explains how those small tweaks make all the difference. He understands when to get in your face and when to take a softer approach, and he is as committed as I am in helping me reach my goals.

After discussing my fitness goals, Elijah explained the general outlines of his plans and expectations. His style is simple and easy. I think most personal trainers are very knowledgable and very good at what they do. Elijah stood apart, however, from other trainers I have worked with in the past. He is particularly commendable because he is personable, genuine and fun. He also made it clear that I had to do my part as recommended by him, such as eating habits. He is also not afraid to talk about finances. I would recommend anybody to at least try a few sessions with him. You will know what I am talking about.

I started working with Andie back in October of 2012. Then I was 40lbs overweight and completely out of shape. I had never been to a personal trainer before, and I can tell you at first I was terrified. However, once I met Andie she totally put me at ease and totally changed my perception on personal trainers. Andie cares about her clients and pushes you to be the best YOU possible. I'm now down 35lbs, almost to my goal weight, and have toned up all over. I have always struggled with my weight after having my kids, I have done weight watchers & Atkins, which I lost alittle but then would gain it back. I worked out when I could, but never knew if I was doing the excercises properly. My husband went on this site to view personal trainers for me in the area and Andie was on the top of our list. I e-mailed her as well as one other, and from her information and not feeling pressured to join with her made me at ease right away. The 1st time meeting with her I was nervous of what she would expect of me, but after talking with her I felt so much more at ease and excited to get started! She listened to everything I had issues with and foods I liked and made me a plan that I can deal with (I even get cheat meals to look forward too:) She makes the workouts fun and she keeps you motivated! The sessions included various creative exercises, thus did not get boring and not much equipment was required. He provided gentle motivation and guidance, which was perfect for me. The very next day, over the consultation, we went over the scheduling details, payment and my goals. John was very nice as he answered all of my questions and told me what he could bring to the table as my trainer. We decided on a 3 month trial period since it was a good amount of time to see if this was a good fit for me. Aside from the reasonable pricing, the best part of MOR Athletic is that John comes to me for my sessions. After a long day at work, it's extremely convenient to be trained at home! I would recommend MOR Athletic to those who would like to be healthier at their own pace and for a good cost!

Destination Fitness is the best! This is by far the best money I have ever spent! I wasted so much money on health clubs that I never went to. I tried tapes and classes at various clubs and park districts. I never stuck to any plan until I tried Destination Fitness and Jill's team. Jill was so caring and listened to my story. She helped put together a plan and introduced me to her trainer Marty and her Registered Dietitian Melissa. For the first time everything clicked! They did not make me feel like I had to drop and give them 20 push ups. They created fun exercises for me to follow that I actually enjoyed! Melissa the RD was amazing. She listened to me as well and helped me create a menu plan that I could follow on my busy schedule. I have been running for the last 2 years for stress relief and when I finished my Ph.D I decided to look for a personal trainer to teach me new workouts. I met with Tim, and told him that I can't afford a lot of sessions and he did not make it any less difficult. In 5 30 min sessions with Tim I learned a ton of new, fun, and very difficult work outs! He made sure to ask me each time where I was sore, and adjusted my work out accordingly. He made sure I learned proper form for each new technique so that I would not hurt myself. Best of all he answered all my questions no matter how small and always made me feel comfortable to learn something new, even when I looked funny doing it. I have also seen major results in just a few sessions because he works you to your limit! Best decision I could make before moving away. You know that feeling you get when someone looks at you and you can see them calculating in their head- what is different? Training w Chris made me different. I have pretty much always worked out, but working out with weights outside of a class environment wasn't part of my regular routine. I have worked out with trainers in the past, but after a handful of sessions would tire of their plan and go back to classes or machines. The boredom still hasn't kicked in with Chris and it has been about a year. My body is tighter, my butt is higher and I can knock someone out with one punch if they deserve it.

I am so glad I found Sergio. I have changed so many trainers because I wasn't seeing progress and I wasn't satisfied with them. I have seen great progress in such a small amount of time. Sergio is an amazing trainer and I love the fact that his gym is private. Sergio and his girlfriend Jackie are the nicest people I've met. No matter what they will always greet you with a smile. The difference between Lindsay and other trainers is that Lindsay does not see you as a dollar sign. She views each of her clients as individuals that want to lead a healthy and active lifestyle, and she knows that she is the key to their success. She will go above and beyond any means to help you understand your body. However the guidance does not just stop at the gym. For example, Lindsay will go with you to the grocery store and show you what foods you should be buying to incorporate into your diet. She will personally check up on you throughout the day to make sure you are staying on track with your eating. With Lindsay you do not only get a trainer, you develop a friend. The best decision you can make for yourself is to hire Lindsay as your personal trainer. I know it was mine.

I am currently a 34 year old male with over 20 years of a very active lifestyle. I was a multiple varsity letterman in high school and then a member of special forces training schools in the military after that. In addition to that training, I spent year dancing professionally. When I say I know what it takes to compete, I mean it. But when I tell you that Charlie is the best trainer I've ever worked with, that's a guarantee! He can either break down the human body in a matter of 30 minutes, or he can build up the connection between your nervous system and your muscular system over the course of multiple sessions. He has a master understanding of how body weight when tasked under the right planes of movement, can be all you need to achieve the desired results. You'll get more from Charlie in a 3'x3' square space on an empty floor than you could get with multiple trainers in an entire gym.
