We did Ashtanga yoga on the beach. She was very clear in her explanation of the poses and gave us modifications which made it easy to move through poses and concentrate on our breathe.
I've been part of Kristen's classes for five years now, and she continues to be my favorite instructor. Her vinyasa flow sequences never fail to challenge and inspire. The quotes she finds to kick off class always seem to resonate with me - she has a knack for finding statements that speak to people of all backgrounds, and in using them she unites us in practice from the very beginning. Megan is super fun and very easy to interact with as a private yoga teacher. She has a vivaciousness about her and inner strength that translates to the yoga she teaches. I had a serious "yoga high" after our first session together from the yoga + crystal therapy savasana. Spunky and insightful mixed with a mature energy, Megan is exactly what you need to get through your power vinyasa flows and then help you settle down and relax with a great savasana. Arhanta Yoga was founded in 2009 and organizes 200-hour yoga teacher training courses certified with Yoga Alliance. The courses take place at the authentic yoga ashram, surrounded by vast lands and nature. They are short but intensive 4-week residential courses offering an in-depth study of classical hatha yoga, how to teach yoga, meditation, 84 classical hatha yoga asanas and much more. The teachers are experienced teachers and work under the supervision of the famous Indian yoga teacher, Yogi Ram.

I also do small classes (no more than 4 per class), allowing families, groups of friends, or starting you journey with a group of complete strangers to grow together and help hold each other accountable. Her hatha yoga classes focus on uniting breath to movement in a slow, meditative dance that students are encouraged to carry with them off of the mat. She offers in-home, private sessions in weekly classes and seasonal workshops in the Front Range area.
