FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The pricing is based on the square footage of the house. 0-1500 square feet is the base starting price point, 1501-2000 is the next tier, then 2001-3000. Additional charges apply for pier and beam foundations, pools, sprinkler systems and radon testing. Discounts are currently available to military, firefighters and police officers.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I try to be as informative and as flexible as possible to meet their expectations. My inspections are thorough and timely, the reports are detailed, easy to read, and have marked up photos of all deficiencies. I also review with them how the inspection went on site, and provide recommendations on the deficiencies found.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received training and certification through the American Home Inspector Training Institute at the University of Texas- Arlington. I am also members of ASHI, InterNachi and TEPRIA. They provide useful materials to stay up to date on all of the current inspection requirements. I also continue to read as much as I can on my free time and talk with other inspectors about different scenarios they have encountered during their inspections.
