Introduction: I begin the process of teaching the piano with a simple question: What is the music that you love? We then explore how music theory, improvisation, ear training, music reading, and technique development can help us play the music we love and become the musician we aspire to be. I have eight years of piano teaching experience with children, teens, and adults. I am also a board-certified and licenced music therapist with experience providing adaptive lessons for people with disabilities. I received my Bachelors of Music Therapy degree from Marylhurst University in 2015.
