Introduction: My service stands out because my job does not stop at the end of the training session. I routinely check in with each client to see how they're doing and feeling. Most of this is mental and some people need the extra push to go above and beyond. I believe each client is capable and sometimes they just need to be reminded of that. I’m a Hoboken based personal trainer who has experience working with clients of all physiques/ages/pre and post natal. I employ a variety of tools in my training sessions such as TRX, free weights, pad training, calisthenics, resistance bands, etc. The program I will create for you is based on you and your goals. I enjoy seeing my clients progress from day one. I love seeing them become stronger (physically and mentally), smaller (if weight loss is their goal) and have a better sense of self (exercise increases self confidence and reduces stress/anxiety). It's exciting to me to see them reach their goals. Results are motivating to them as a client and myself as the trainer. We only have one life, so may as well be the best version of ourselves and enjoy it!!

Erika has been my personal trainer for many years, and has helped me achieve my fitness goals every time. She trained and helped me reach my summer-bod goals, my wedding goals, and my pre-and-post-partum recovery. Honestly, what I like most about Erika is that she is real. She doesn’t try to sell you fad diets or workouts; she shares her honest advice and challenges you during sessions. Erika is amazing, and I highly recommend having her as a personal trainer. Bonus points because she offers nutritional advice and she is just an overall great person to have in your life!

I had the true pleasure of having Erika as my personal trainer for over 5 months, and I can say she completely changed my health and fitness. During every session (all at my apartment gym since she came directly to me), she pushed me hard but also made sure to focus on proper form and safety. I never felt like I was on the verge of injuring myself, even when we focused more on weigh lifting. She changed the workouts up, explained the reasoning behind certain moves, and made sure to balance out exercises from week to week. Even if I had just one session a week, though, Erika made sure to text me multiple days per week asking how I was feeling, how I was eating, and whether my other workouts were going well. She kept me accountable and made sure I was making serious progress even when she wasn't physically present at the gym, and that makes a huge difference. Plus, she also sometimes sent me workouts for days she couldn't train me. My progress was significant during my time with her as well (completing unassisted pullups and dips for the first time in my life, along with losing over 25 pounds in just over 5 months). I can't say enough about Erika. I give her my highest recommendation without hesitation.

Erika is an amazing trainer. She always makes sure I am pushing myself and becoming the strongest version of myself. She checks up on me the day after our sessions always to ensure I am feeling good. I always leave our sessions feeling happier, stronger, and empowered to take on the rest of the day. Thanks for the great energy and motivation!!!

Erika took a situation I can only describe as bleak and totally turned it on it’s head! I was post-partum, couldn’t get my diet in check or stay motivated, and felt totally hopeless about the prospect of losing 5 lbs let alone 25+. In a few short months she’s taken me from the biggest I’ve ever been to only a few pounds from my wedding weight. She goes above and beyond her obligations as a trainer to check in regularly and keep you accountable, which makes you reconsider that third glass of wine. She understands goals, doesn’t limit you to one method of training, keeps things interesting, doesn’t judge, and above all is understanding - caring most about how YOU feel. Oh and she’s smart, great to talk to and has an excellent music selection. I can’t recommend her highly enough and am so thankful I found her!

I started going to Erika for pre-natal training, and continue to go to her over a year after having the baby. During my pregnancy, she was amazing to work with and very knowledgeable of safe (yet effective) workout techniques that prepared and made my body stronger for delivery, as well as benefited my overall health. Post-baby, she has helped to get my body back to where it was before and creates a workout plan tailored to fit your individual needs. She's patient, and will never make you do something you don't feel comfortable doing as her ultimate goal is to see you succeed! I'd definitely recommend her!
