Introduction: Being a music school graduate my teaching method is influenced by the drum traditions of the past drumming masters. But I realize some people just want to have fun. This is why we develop a custom drum lesson plan for each student based on their desired goals and influences. We are now offering as part of our lesson package quarterly progress videos of the student playing to music. These videos will be available to share with friends and family. I am a professional drummer for over 40 years and recording engineer for over 18 years. My joy is playing music, recording music and teaching others how to play drums. My media included on this page represents a small sample of the types of music played, recording projects recorded, mixed and mastered at Sanctuary Sound Studio. Also I played drums and percussion on these projects as well.

Drum Lessons: Base rate: $50/hour at my studio $35/half hour at my studio. Recording Studio per hour Rate: $50/hour (discounts available based on project length)
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Drum Lessons - All drum lessons with be customized to the students goals, desires and learning objectives. Sanctuary Sound Studio - Each customer requires a customized quote based on their project's specific requirements. The first step is establishing expectations and timelines to complete. Once the scope of the project is determined then a fair price can be determined.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
BA in Music from Jersey City State College (1982).
